"Traveling Merchant"
Marco Polo

Great Tools But Limited
Traveling Merchant is one the new features that would more interring than it is. I asked my group and other two team members (about 80 people) except two times (they said just for test) we never used it. Most of the time people making jock when Marco Polo is coming.

Suggestion for "Traveling Merchant"
Would be your game more amazing if you let people do trade to each other. They can offer anything they have extra for trade with any price (amount of anything they need). For instance I really need wood and silk now and I have extra chess, I'm ok with giving away 7 cheese for 3 woods. Even Marco Polo can offer something and get the percentage of other deals as a market holder. The most beautiful things about your game is freedom of choices, which other game in market doesn't have have it. In my opinion, this limitation of this amazing tool is not working as well as real market, for something most of us never used till now.

Thank you,

Best Regards

John

You didn't find the small stag lures a good deal? I paid all 22 (max storehouse capacity) marble and went out and gained 8 more to buy 30 small stag lures. Each small stag lure, lured 2 stags to my base which I then hunted for 6 crowns each. So I essentially got 360 crowns (30 lures x 2 stags/lure x 6 crowns/stag) for 30 marble. Sounds like a good deal to me.

I've also exchanged NTG for training blessings, and betrayal tactics. This current Marco Polo iteration gives me protect, and barrage tactics for tea. While not perfect, there's still good deals for those who are looking for them.

I agree with RottPhiler, down to which deals we liked and used. And don't forget, there is an achievement for making trades, which rewards you with crowns.

Trading with other players is not Marco Polos job. If it's not helpful don't use it.

I have even said that to my alliance mates. I do not think the gold and food would be such a good idea, but to trade some trade goods would be awesome. Something like ten cider for one marble.
