can this stupid bar get some improvements
this bar is so huge and is now taking like 1/10 of the screen and make a blind spot in the map which can hide defensive buildings and lead to complete troop loss
and is so long that if i have large variety of troops and tactics i will take 1 year to scroll inbetween them to choose troops

hope this game get the present problems fixed before release of atomic age or we are all doomed with the new + old bugs this game gonna have

But most times the attacking troops ai hunt out those items hidden by the bar.. But yeah smaller would help, but not too small. Sending off wrong troops cause youve hit the wrong tab is just as annoying.

That if u don't run out of time
I would like another small bar on the left or right side of screen for tactics and leave thr bottom bar for troops only

It would be nice if you could have the option to combine units and put them into a one button main army drop. I usually drop tanks separate and keep a few fusiliers in reserve so I wouldn't include them with the main army.

yeah or a way to only have on the bar what youre going to use. Its a real pain the length of it too. You get a bit free stuff loaded onto it (just in case, never use) and you have to swipe across miles just to select the item you need. Customisable troop bar ftw ;)

I guess it would be as bad as merc drop button, slow release of troops + release of squishy troops first
The only solution is to slim the troops bar and seperate tactics from it and alow more zoom out so no part of the map would be covered by troops bar

Agreed, the troop tab is getting way too long. I made a suggestion a while back that the card troops you get from events (shinobis, elephant archers etc) should go straight into your inventory (the same way they do from the dock expeditions) that way we can claim them when needed rather than have them clogging up our troop bar.

I want two things for the troop bar:

1. I want to be able to scale it to my needs. I want to test if 50% size is my favourite, 80% or whatever.
2. I want my troops in a certain order. This can either be by fixed order from the system so that later produced tactics or troops always go to the same position. That means for exampe always protection first, then sabotage, then healing, ... And if I produce a sabotage after a healing, I want it sorted in before the sabotage.
The even better would be that every player can sort himself or design an order he prefers.

I would also think having the tactics and bonus troops on a seperate bar would be no bad idea.

I would see 2 bars : one on the left with the army troops, one on the right with tactics, mercenaries, ally troops
This would solve the problem of hidden buildings at the south of the map under the bar.

This is once again becoming an issue. With a fighter, transport, 3 generals, 2 sabs, protect, decoy and 4 stronghold troops the bar is once again too unwieldy. Why do troop tactics appear in the middle of your regular ones? Move them to the far right. Better yet reorganize this bar or allow us to customize it. It's only going to get worse in subsequent ages with more troop types.

Smaller troop bar is as annoying; especially for those who play on small screen phones. I made another suggestion spread which Nexon should add " START BALTTLE" button. During 30s planning, you wl place all your troops on where you want them to deploy. Once finish, click on START BATTLE button and get rid of very long troop bar.

It doesn't have to be smaller. Just less cumbersome. Instead of the full image of tactics, for example they should be somewhat see-through. Then they could be stacked 2 per row in the right corner. The main issue, for me anyway, is the way troop tactics randomly appear in between the regular ones with seemingly no rhyme or reason.

JK, I get your point. I started a thread about making the screen icons either smaller or more transparent. For smaller devices I think the smaller icons would be an issue, I think the icons can be 50% more transparent and light up fully only when you touch them.
This would allow us to see the bottom of the defender's base for those hidden buildings.

PS that post dates to pre-stronghold update, u can imagine how having 20 troop cards or more was like back in the days
by meaning it's huge cuz i play on iphone (i know iPads won't be the same) and always covers the blind spot of the map at the buttom which i used to forget checking in early days when i started to war, but now my mind routinely screens it even if it's forest is not cleared XD

Actually, on a related note - the troop bar does cover the far bottom of the base map, both in war and in multiplayer. Adjust the map window so we can move it down further even when zoomed out, so that the bottom corner of the map is completely above the troop bar. May need to add some more static art to fill in the bottom, but the troop controls should not make it impossible to see or touch any active portion of the base map. TinSoldier Nb4powerup
