Troops incorrect damage increase from museum

I am atomic and just switched from British to German. My long guns were amazing with uni and 49% museum. But now my default German ranged infantry is only 67 damage. With 49% it only goes up to 89. They tried to explain this to me but didn’t make a lot of sense.
i feel my default atomic ranged infantry at 67 is too low. and thr might have been a mistake when I switched nations.
what is default atomic ranged infantry with or without max university?
Plz some one shed some light on my situation.

67x1.49= 99 but it states 89. I asked and they said it was an error and they would look into it and fix it, then they said some crap about how it was correct. It can’t be!
Is 67 a typical atomic default damage for ranged infantry.
Oh and on top of all this my German infantry is wrong as well, after museum increases.
Everyone check ur states on troops from museum increases and percentages!

67 is not the base value, it already includes some other buffs. Buffs are always applied to the (lower) base value.

Close. The wiki sez base damage for atomic ranged infantry is 50. 49% on top of that would be +24. From the OP 67 to 89 is only +22.
