Unable to take revange

image_5224.jpg Guess who out of 3 people on that screen-shot is always under attack past last 6 hours? I am able to play my phone while at work, so pretty much clicking revenge every 5 minutes since 9 am and always same result. Give you a hint, 1 of them I was able to take revenge on.

A side note, on that 3rd person fist I clicked 'revenge', it loaded his base, but I noticed my army didn't finish, so clicked 'end battle', waited for troops to build, then clicked 'revenge' and boom 'under attack' for 30 minutes. Restarted whole game (closed and launched again), and then was able to take revenge. Hope that helps to devs.

Ironangel you already have that village ID in your PM's from me, if you need to check logs it's Big Finger village.


When this issue will be acknowledged?

There may be other factors, but one I know is that revenge does not work across iOS-android games. if you are on one platform and the target is on another you just get a constant 'target under attack' message. If you have the option to link and switch your game between the two platforms then you can switch and get revenge to work whenever you see the message.

Sorry, not buying it, I'm not attacking other device, I'm attacking a piece of 0's and 1's on a server that we share.
If application is designed that I would have to communicate with opponents device (instead of server) to get proper response, then yes it would be possible what you said, but that would be incredibly ridiculous application design - unless it's some weird tedious way of saving data within database.
Assuming what you suggest it's true, does it mean if I log out on apple device androids can't revenge and if I log out on android apples can't revenge?

I'll search for iOs emulation programs to test your theory.

Having special characters in your village name used to crash games, it was recognized as an issue and fixed if I remember correctly, therefore my suspicion that names of those villages may be the reason for this issue.

Edit:sorry, of course I meant no disrespect - I'm being told that sometimes I can sound like a douche while being nice person in reality.
Can you evaluate your ios-android theory by dev response or by being able to revenge weird chars on your ios that you could not on android and vice versa?

Gentlemen number 1 is new, 30 minutes online (perfectly valid), 31st minute, under attack and under siege since then
Gentlemen number 2 moved from constantly under attack to 'under peace treaty'
Gentlemen number 3 still under attack since this morning.

And this is all in bronze league range medieval/gunpowder.

So I am getting other responses then 'under attack', but not getting into battle mode.

Funny thing. After I ran an attack, lost whole army, clicked 'revenge' on mister 1024 I managed to port into his village (with no army of course). Will try it again in 20 minutes if losing one soldier in random attack will give me option to get into 1024's village again.

I feel like in a scooby doo cartoon...

Until everyone is on 2.5, you will see issues like this. As it was a forced update as of last night, hopefully these will subside.

2.5 issue was that we could not see who attacked, what they took, revenge and replay button was not present. This is different.

Again, are attachments visible?

These issues are here since Asia market opening, just on higher leagues where you get a PT 5 minutes after logging off it's not noticeable. Only now (with my lower village) I was bothered enough to start posting it here with screen shots.

As mentioned in edited post, I was able to actually get in 1024 village after one attack (but had no soldiers to proceed, will try again in 20 minutes).

Will play a bit with this issue as I have 3 perfect test subjects in my logs.
If you want me to stop posting, just say it and I will drop it and pretend it never happened ;-)

I have two accounts that I have linked so I can play either of them on my iOS or android platform. I have them attack each other so there are revenges stacked in their logs. When I log one off and revenge with the other, it works 100% of the time when I've been playing both on the same device (after a 5 minute delay). When I log one off from one device and then try to revenge from the other it fails 100% of the time with the 'under attack' message. When I immediately switch devices with my attacker then it suddenly works every time. I've tested all the binary permutations of accounts and devices. Neither of my accounts have weird characters.

Given that Google Play and iOS are separate interactivity frameworks, it isn't hard to imagine that there is a bug in syncing the two data streams back at Nexon HQ.

Edit: What put me on to this test:

I think it's happening since "Dominations Asia" launched. Both clients r using same server, however,the thing is that "domi asian" can search "domi world " but "domi world" will never find "domi Asian " in the game, except defense replay. Something wrong on ur data transferring system, Mr/Mrs/Miss BHG lol

Hi I've been suffered from the same issue - cannot revenge to players under constant 'under attack' state.
I was originally played with my iPhone but recently switched my platform into PC using bluestacks(which is because of damn frequent crashes after updating to iOS 9)
and I found that now I can revenge to those players who were at constant 'under attack'. So my hypothesis is this : there are functional disorder for iOS user to revenge on Android user.
thus I want to ask whether you are iOS user, cuz that may also explain the issues on Korean players(Since occupational rate of Android in Korea is about 90% in Korea as I know)

The fact that there seems to be 'cross pollenation' issues with revenging someone on a different OS doesn't make sense. Dominations - as I understand it - is a server based game. So that means both OS's are tapping into the same '0's and '1's on a server somewhere - as atramar pointed out. Neither person is attacking the other person's phone/tablet/device.

Well Ironangel, 2.5 was forced on all accounts I guess - for me at least it was - I was not able to login with the older version. Which means there should be no more attacks which can not be revenged.
So your theory that a version dismatch is the cause, is not valid anymore I think...?

I think what Cannibals said makes sense, also I guess the characters in Users names could be a factor too...

So matchmaking works for Cross-Device/Cross-Region, but revenge does only work on same Device/Region, thats my guess here...
Can this be checked from your side?

Dominations is a Unity game which relies on the iOS Game Center and Google Play Games development frameworks to coordinate data between BHG servers and our devices. Out of the box integration of the Game Center data stream and Google Play data stream isn't commercially available to my knowledge, so BHG would have to write custom code that merges the two data streams into one master database on their server.
