I have brought up this issue before but alliances with an oriental, Arabic or Cyrillic name have a huge advantage since they often cannot be searched for in alliance search...
One thing that we cannot check and that gives them a small advantage is:
- impossible to visit their alliance page to see if they are very active or good donators.
The first one is a minor one.. but the following one can be a huge one in WW as the WW map does not show the coalitions properly on planning day.
We are currently in planning day against an alliance called Turkish Special. The WW map have since early in the planning day shown that their nr1 have 1 defensive coalition - Indian lv3.
But when you go to Turkish Special Alliance page you can see that his embassy have two more flags: Maori and Egypt. Of the latter two it is impossible to know the level...
But at least we know he got three def coals and can plan accordingly..
But had we faced an alliance with Chinese characters we wouldn't have known that he had three def coals at all... - before war day.. In tough matches this can be a little late... As you have your top players purchase coalitions according to a battle plan on who attack who...
I have observed the issue with many coalitions "missing" on the war map until war day many times.
To make it a fair and level play ground you need to put in "hyperlinks" in the alliance names on the war map - so that everyone can visit everyone.
