Unit History!

Of all the combatants in World War II, the German armed forces possessed the most advanced technology and tactics for armored warfare. The Jagdpanzer was a dedicated Tank Destroyer, with the sole purpose of destroying enemy armor. Tank Destroyers were designed with no turret, which allowed for a more powerful main gun and a low profile silhouette that was ideal for ambushes. In the massive tank battles on the Eastern Front, such as Brody and Kursk, the numerically inferior Germans could inflict massive casualties on the Russians – although that was often due to air superiority in addition to advanced armored technology.

Now, I love history and it's amazing to see so many cool units in DomiNations. Which units do you like the most? What should be added?

I'm confused why the Greek special tank is the Valentine. The Valentine was a British tank in the early war. Is there some history I'm missing here, because as far as I'm aware, Greece never had these tanks?

As far as other units, I'd like to see the German 88mm ATG be a unit. This iconic unit was well known for it's artillery and anti-tank roles.

I don't know if you would consider unique air units for different nations, but maybe the Spitfire for the British, Zero for Japanese, Messerschmidt for German, etc? Partisans that spawn after houses are destroyed? Or special forces units?

Yeah, sucks that each nation only gets 1 unique unit. The stats don't have to be different, but would be cool to have unique graphics and descriptions for each unit in each nation.

I found it odd that the armoured car is only unlocked during global age. Weren't there armoured cars about even during WW1? You can see a few Rolls-Royce armoured cars driving about at unrealistically fast speeds in Battlefield 1 so I'd figure they were about during that time piece. I'd love if you guys made an Industrial Age downgraded version and the global factory level upgrades brought it to its current rendition.

Maybe change the Industrial-Age British soldiers to wear those flat-ish helmets? They currently look like their from the American civil war or something... Plus why are they blue with officer hats?

The Black Watch legitimately dressed like that during the age. I don't see how it benefits them against the barbed wire and the mustard gas but I admire their boldness.

There are many powerful special German units in WWII history but the game German nation troop is Nazi solder! I think the nations special units should be changed from IA or they have two special units from this age. Maybe something special is coming with Atomic, who knows!

You will find that the British donated a lot of these tanks to their allies including the Greeks. They must've had a great 'alliance' !

I think each nation should have its own uniqueness in all troops. The german rifleman should have the STG44, etc - planes should be Zeros for Japanese, etc.
I would like to see the big Gustav gun for the Germans - it should fire very very slowly but be really powerful.
But I think the best addition would be an ICBM for the Nuclear Age! It should cost half your army but destroy half the enemy base, like Command & conquer!

I definitely think Israel should be added as a new Nation.

Oh I didn't mean the black watch, I meant the assault infantry. Those guys look out of place with the blue outfits and officer hats.
