Antiquity warfare captures a huge swath of the world’s history of war, conducted from the beginning of recorded history up until the fall of Rome in 476 CE. Ancient Egypt advanced from spears and leather shields to the use of horses and chariots, body armor, and composite bows. The Persian Empire paired armored cavalry with heavy and ranged infantry. Ancient Greeks relied on armored infantry and the phalanx formation. Greek development of the sarissa (a long spear) improved the effectiveness of the phalanx formation. The sarissa provided the ability to inflict greater casualties at a further distance, and masked the formation’s movements depending on how the sarissa’s were held. Alexander the Great made use of the sarissa in combination with light cavalry, heavy cavalry, and chariots in his campaigns. As ancient cultures and civilizations grew, so too did their conflicts, resulting in the development of new technologies meant to provide an advantage on the battlefield.

Additionally we'll also be running our Golden Horde Event:

The Golden Horde was a division of the Mongol Empire that ruled over much of the Ukraine, Russia, and Central Asia. A significant power for over a century, it began to decline in the mid-1300s due to the Black Death as well as military losses to both Tamerlane and the Russian princes.

How are the event XP actually tallied. By my reckoning, having met the day 1 events goals, nobody should be much higher than 800 points.
Using the additional Leaderboard points algorithm of +5 for 60 minutes of Speed Ups, even if someone had 100 hours of speed ups, (that would only account for an additional 500 points.
The global leaderboard is loaded with players far in excess of this.
The day 1 top leader has 303,930 points, which represents almost seven (7) years of time.

By paying to get the event pass you can get 5* for every star you make in a battle. But yes that guy at 300000+ is clearly cheating.

The events are proof the cheating is still rampant.
imagine doing the upgrade of 6.9 years when an event is not on. Nobody would know. That's why there seems like so many digital age bases.
Granted many of them still can't play.
But after nearly 5 years of game play and spending in this game, it's very annoying to see brand new players with bigger bases, uni complete etc and all done seemingly overnight.
Meanwhile, i have another 2 week upgrade to tend to. Which sadly will take 2 weeks

I find it funny how people don't really get it.

Nexon are using these type of events to look out for and eradicate cheaters.
It's been like this for a couple of months.

Sure, that fella might finish 1st but at the end of an event Nexon won't allow such behaviour. He/she will lose their #1 spot and those how finished below him/her will be awarded #1 spot.

New era on a horizon. 😏😎 Have faith.

We keep an eye on the Event Leaderboards for cheaters, and investigate the top finishers at the end of every event even if their numbers look in order.

The team is doing our best to make sure that Events feel like a fair play environment for all involved.
