Seriously, that buff features is lame. People should not be getting what 'buffs' people have. I mean, its like classified war information. This is slowly becoming something for the <70IQ people.

Suggesting resource increase means you haven't seen the oil requirements of Amelia.

FYI - Leo's level 5 heavy tank upgrade requires 7 citizens, 22500 oil and will upgrade for 9 days. Let that sink in. Uni was designed as an end game thing. Then again BHG never disappoint in their crappy execution :D

I think it's only retrospectively, there doesn't appear to be any change pre battle.

I'm hopeful that the upcoming museum may have some influence in this area, maybe different artifacts will have buffs like mini capstones of Da Vinci and Sejong.

It's impossible to change the university now! A lot of people made the hard way, and its impossible to provide a bonus to these guys.
Stop crying and play the game. If it is a mess for you, get away!

i have said before and i will say it again, University is by far the most outrageous idea they implemented in this game.

not only it artificially created worker shortage, ridiculously long research time, it also created tons of confusion in game play since there is no external indicator how far your opponent is in research. You will only realize this watching game replay in disbelief that their defense swarm out and decimate your attack forces in seconds.
IMO this is the best thing to happen to Dominations. The game became interesting with this introduction.
Instead of using the same boring attack strategies you have to think a little about what you're doing and how you do it. And you have to be a little more 'hands on' during the battle.
Or you could just buy elephant archers like lazy rich people, your choice. :D
Also, I don't see the argument of ''new players can't catch up to older players''. Who says they have to? This mentality of ''I have to have what he has, but now'' is pathetic.
Have you considered that it's not the end goal that's important but how you get there?
Not trying to be philosophical or anything like that but people should stop whining about making things easier and man up. Just do what needs to be done or quit.

PS: and before anyone says ''but you're CWA and you don't have a problem with it'' my alt is industrial and he's enjoying the ride. I know of others who have alts too and they're not complaining, just playing.

PPS: I would be in favour of a 2nd slot for the same leader as it benefits everyone.

You're overestimating university, it doesn't really do much for variety.
The main upgrades are relatively easy to get you might as well assume every serious opponent has them, and in the decoy dominated meta, a 30% defensive boost won't change the main winning strategy. Which is basically, bring in as much DPS as possible to take down a base as fast as possible.

The only thing that you can have qualms about is whether the opponent has Saladin ''Hold the gates'' capstone or not, in which case you just bring more bazookas and play a bit differently with your fighters.

Because of this, I am additionally confused by people claiming that the change will destroy their secret uni advantage, as we can see here it doesn't even matter in the grander scheme of things. It will actually help players by not making them have to look at the wiki every 5 minutes when they want to plan out their attack in meticilous detail. And give a casual player more understanding of how to boost their army to be more effective.

just do what’s been done with armory and library:

1000 crowns to open up a special lab within the university. workers working from this lab are unaffected by what any other workers in the university are researching.

You’re underestimating uni research kniferX. I won’t point out why cause obviously you know a lot about it.
Alliances are supposed to help new players learn how to boost their army not disclosing their opponents boosts.
