Unlimited night witches?

I unlocked the night witch building for the event and put it into my inventory since I am not ready to use it. I keep trying to use the 3 free night witches I was awarded from the event in combat though, and whether I win the battle or lose and destroy them, 3 more will appear in my inventory when relaunching the app.

Should they keep respawning every few minutes after a battle even though I do not have any buildings available to build aircraft?

I'm loving the easier victories, but it seems like it might be bug.

yes it's occurred to me; the embarassment at denying them to people who saved them for legitimate use would be less than the embarassment of having EVERYONE BOMBED EVERY DAY

Yeah. I still have the hangar and one witch. I use it to get revenge on the people who attack me with them. I can't speak for everyone, but losing them wouldn't bother me one bit if it stops the constant invincible attacks for everybody.

i'd like to know if the developers have a good understanding of this bug.

what marketing people and customers think is that the bulk time is in figuring bugs out, and fixing them takes a day. that's severely false.
really figuring things out is the sign of discrimination, intelligence .. refactoring software into the correct structure without a bug takes creativity and discipline, the hard part.

i want to know if they've passed that first stage, that they understand the software error. our moderator in some post said that the developers were trying to find the bug on their test server; that lifted a flag in my mind where they were in the resolution process. as an experienced developer, i would expect they would see the problem clearly by now.

refactoring is hard; it takes a quality of attention that nobody likes ... not investors or customers .. we want to rush past that .. but doing it well is the gold standard of a great developer and requires the most patience. i would have a great deal more patience if i knew that we were at that stage, that developers have identified the problem and are considering the error that allowed it to exist in the first place.

imo, a moderator would calm our community if s/he were able to confirm this.

Just FYI, I still have unlimited Night Witches if I don't install the optional patch.

Looks like this issue will be around for awhile as people try to make it last as long as possible.

i really want this problem to go away ....
i'm sympathetic to those with witches who don't apply the patch considering it will eat your base and deny you 5* ww attacks.
i'd like to see a fixed hotfix. lukewarmfix? leftoversfix?
