Used to be sometimes exaggerated matchmaking...now it's a complete joke!!

Is it just us? We would sometimes get a couple of runs of a ridiculous pairing but the last few weeks have been OTT. Our matches have been missions impossible.completely!! Current match up of 20 war is half atomics,rest industrial and they are well.done,not fresh age. 2 wars ago we had 1 L270 CWA along with more CW and huge Atomics. When our top 3 were AA's L196,192 and L172. It's becoming very frustrating. We have tweaked war team numbers but as an alliance that likes to help our lower age improve its not easy leaving some people out bit nothing seems to fix it or make it any little bit more (near) fair. They are just complete jokes. I wouldn't even call them a challenge. We like to let everyone join in at some stage but realistically our more experienced players put in a huge effort and losing is killing us now,especially when we never had a chance to begin with. Are we alone?

Your alliance is definitely alone, we experience exactly the same thing. We have tried experiments with the strength of our players all to no avail. I can't remember the last time we had an evenly matched war. We don't expect to win every war & are basically not a pay to win alliance but every match up now is either hopelessy weighted against us or sometimes for us, either way there is no real enjoyment in it. Come on Nexon there have been many suggestions put up on here about how to improve this situation how about you guys actually doing something to give alliances a fair go. Put the fun back into wars.

Last war for us was 15 cwa vs our 5cwa. We got smashed to bits. Mind you most of attacks were just awful! Still we never had a chance

Just thought I would let you both know that there is still hope! Seem to have gotten a somewhat normal matchup after posting this(cold war still but not half of them ). So keep going, I hope things calm a little for you also. And I hope I am not jinxing the pairing!! Best of luck. Thought it would never end but it seems it may

I took a glance at your alliance... It is your high level industrials that are hurting you (level 160+ with mostly maxed IA defense). They carry a higher war rank than a lower level atomic with maxed offense and weak defense, so you are set up for this sort of mismatch. I'm not saying it's right or fair, but this is how the system currently works. You can try shifting the balance somewhat by encouraging your industrials to rush to atomic and max out their offense (while holding off on more defensive upgrades).

Nexon has never done a good job of matching wars evenly, and now they appear to be taking the average and trying it for a bit, then tossing it and matching you to the next available team after a 20 minute wait or so. We basically run through a series of weeks of lopsided wars to get an occasional good one.

No one gets only one sided impossible matches all the time. Theree is a wide range of matched opponents, some you can’t win, some you can’t lose and many in between. A good alliance should have a winning record.

It has happened since the rushes started- I personally went to Industrial then but I was going to anyway,just saving workers. We have some fresh global but wasn't wise for too many rushes. Have known for a few weeks to strengthen middle.it was quite balanced as we take all ages but then the middle near disappeared. Few players stopped playing or advanced. Working on that. But after the rushes and the new perks pairing went insane. Was hoping it balanced out eventually but have to add many we faced did not seem to be doing age rush. It was very curious!!

We actually war back to back so had plenty experience...3 silly mismatches and then a run of decent and then some too easy...that was always the way...but 10 impossible ones in a row is no joke and hurts a record that was worked hard for. Of course we can get stronger and get over it but the numbers for win and losses remain.
