Hello,
I was win 5,5 million (yes 5 550 000) of food, and the next 22K oil (yes 22 000 of oil) in my last two victory chest since the update ! I think it is in relation of my league lvl, i'm in Empire 2.
I thing egaly that some players are goin to lvl up in the next few weeks (and i invite you to remember my first topic about your global way of decrease your medals to steal the other players)

And you, had you seen this change ?

Gold 2 contained 1.1M gold as a reward.

In kingdom 3 it is 3 million gold or food. Haven't got oil so far.

An alliance mate in dynasty three has been offered 28,600 oil. He took it. And finally had a reason to tell the slackers back in silver what they were missing.

Another question , I thought it was normal to get two victory chests in a day before the update . After the update I get only 1 . Haven't completed the lib research which speeds up victory chest timer by 2+2 . So in short earlier I was getting victory chests twice a day , now only once after update . Is this normal ? Or getting 2 earlier was somehow me being lucky due to a bug ?

P.S. No complaints and am still happy , as 1 victory chest post update is far far better than getting 2 before.

You can earn a Victory Chest 24 hours after you earn your first star.

If, on day one, you earn 8 victory Stars, it won't earn you a chest, but it will begin the timer. If you log in 24 hours later and earn 20 victory Stars, you will have earned (yesterday's) Victory Chest, and are working on the current day's Victory Chest.

The increased rewards have tempted me to stay in the higher leagues. I'm kingdom 2 and got my first 3 million gold chest yesterday. Yes, same here. There is now a reason to stay in the higher leagues.

Is there a correlation between how you acquire those 15 stars and the reward? I have noticed that reward is higher if those 15 stars are won in 3 attacks of perfect 5 stars each. If however 15 stars are won in, lets say, 5 attacks, reward is lower. Anyone can confirm my observations?

The way stars are earned do not affect the reward from the chest.

The Library tech, Spoils of War can be researched to increased the rewards earned from the Victory Chest.

But it's only for AA players so the younger ages are left out till then can lvl up in 1+ year unless they crown their way. This is a research that everyone should be able to take part in. Need to stop thinking only about the AA players and others as well.

I have 2650 medals, why sometimes I receive 5,5 million gold/food and sometimes 3,75 million gold/food? Is it random? Or is there any hidden parameter?
