Good thing our name is Invincible otherwise our 26 wins in a row with 2 of them perfect scores may not make sense. :p

I'd like to give lots of credits to Ex for his leadership skills. Great leadership is important and recent battle results just proved it. We beat one of the strongest opponent we've faced so far. Great job Ex organizing and coordinating battles ! Proud to be a member of this great alliance.

I have been a member of this alliance for 9 months, having never seriously gamed before. I have learnt so much from other members, sharpened my war skills and enjoyed some banter with a friendly group of gamers. The organisation is second to none, our war record is 28 unbeaten (? I lose track...) and we all readily donate. So come and join us :)

We just started war 32. A very tough matchup as the top 3 bases all are max with level 30 generals, whereas our highest general in the ally is level 14. A severe mismatch, but so far we have come on top of every mismatch. Seems there are a ton of top accounts who simply lack the gaming knowledge or ability to 5 star their opponent, even when their opponent is significantly lower than them.

I invite others to join our ally so we can grow and you can enjoy the game as it was meant to be player....kicking ass!

Been watching this post awhile, so I'll chime in. Pretty happy in my current alliance and loyal to a fault, so very hesitant to leave. However, there are simply a few things that are becoming larger issues, as I progress, so thinking it is nearly time to make a move. Those are:

- Donations - We have a strict donation policy of giving the same a receiving. Fine if you are either high level or only have a single acct. I recently added a second acct. to try out playing another nation. Giving lowbie troops in large qty to alliance members seems ridiculous and unfair to the recipients. I even believe it led to a couple new recruits departing the alliance. I am sure those Classical Age troops did not help out those Gunpowder and higher alliance members, but our rule is firm and grounds for booting. I saw in this thread that Excellion does NOT support that restriction, just that members be active. (I was the highest donator in our alliance, nearly 2k quality GP troops given before this latest reset.)

- War - I am just now beginning to really enjoy war and my current alliance is simply a lonnnngggg way from being successful. We might win one out of three. Given all the effort I put into our war efforts, including suggestions / advice, I would really like to enjoy better results. As a war captain, two wars ago, I helped us win 111 - 88 over a pretty tough opponent. The most recent war, I had to opt out for real life demands, and we lost decisively. There are many small improvements I have suggested that I believe will make us more successful. While but some are followed, others are not. All I know is I am very competitive and impatient with our progress. We can do better and the folks on this post sounds equally as serious.

- Tactics / Strategy discussions - most attempts at starting up a dialogue are simply met with **crickets**. This is really no fault of the alliance, but likely just the member base being mostly novice. I would welcome more opportunity to discuss attack strategies, base designs, etc.

I am glad to see the lack of emphasis on "medal climbing", as I have way too many upgrades still to complete before considering that slog. But, one reservation I have in joining Invincible is the minimum level req. of 100. My alt is only in the 50's, so gonna be awhile. I really like having them in the same alliance. There are not a lot of rules in here, so totally understandable is this one is not flexible. Just sharing thoughts.

Great job establishing an impression war record.

The only time donations are an issue for us is war time. It is preffered that we get the best troops for maximum advantage. With the update to request specifics we have a better opportunity to give what is being asked for. Raiders have never been a good donation unless people want them but everything else is fair game.

While we encompass many time zones, there are still some quiet hours. We use skype for more reliable chat options as the posts don't dissapear over time. 90% of the time you will hear a response from someone within an hour .. The other 10% is in the wee hours of the morning when our european contingent is bustling off to work and our north americans are still dreaming about paratroopers. We have novices as a part of our group but they are learning quickly and can still provide feedback based on anything they might have asked before.

Our war record is simple .. We dont like losing and we will ask opinions for an hour before a single attack.

Medals are not a true indication of strength so the emphasis to climb into the top 100 alliances isn't our goal. Our alliance score is around 10'000 but recent opponents in war have been double that .. We still win.

Thank you for following our thread. It isn't very active on the forums but thats because we are in the game and often forget to come and bump it.

Hello Merkaba, thanks for stopping by our humble thread. I just wanted to share a quick, direct response to your points.

1. Donations. We have 3 Gunpowder members who should be Enlightenment this month. We really don't expect them to donate anything. Since the rest of our ally is either Enlightenment or above, we ask only Enlightenment or above troops are donated, except as Hugh noted, in war we want nothing but the best.

2. With respect to war, I want to ensure we, as a team, do our absolute best each and every war. We haven't lost a war in months, but we will at some point. We have overcome incredible obstacles including being far outmatched (i.e. max bases with lvl 30/30 generals, whereas our highest general in ally is 15) along with a slew of bugs, especially from the latest updates where we have video of scoring 5 stars but the system didn't record it. At some point, our streak will end and that is ok! We have no problem losing, but we want to be beaten rather than lose due to game issues or lack of effort on our part (i.e. players missing attacks, wrong target, wrong troops, etc)

3. With respect to Tactics, we ask members to record their war attacks since replays aren't available. We share numerous replays each and every war of attacks, good and bad, and have discussions about them. Also, members take screenshots of their war bases and ask for feedback. There is no shortage of tactical discussion.

We are a group of gamers from all over the world (US, Canada, India, South Africa, UK, and other countries). We play for the challenge the game offers and hope to make friends along the way, of those both in our ally and outside of it. We welcome all players who agree to the ally rules (listed at the beginning of this thread). We use Skype for text communication and sharing videos / links.

Kind Regards,
-X
