So you're earning less oil, as you're spending it on HTs, you're spending crowns every attack (you spend more when you include tactics, I saw you spend 13 crowns in one of your 2 star attacks, all adding up to hundreds of crowns each week which you could spend on something else from those videos), and earning next to no NTGs (which you will notice once you actually start war, you need 54 select NTGs for a triplet of max coalitions and you WILL need those if you intend to attack above rushed Global effectively).
And you get what for it? Some victory chests and league boats. A couple of good troop cards? Some speedups? 20000 oil? 2 NTGs?
Meanwhile, a low medal player attacking rushed and abandoned bases only misses out on some troop cards and speedups and gets everything else you get, much faster, easier, reliable, and at no crown cost if he desires so. Plus he is much less affected by the rebalance than the high medal chaser.
You haven't even played wars and you're telling people here that they're attack fanboys that just don't like the challenge and that this astronomic jump in defense is fine. You aren't even full attacking bases, you're just gimmicky sniping for 3 stars with all your troops using crowns to retrain while trying to avoid defenses, you aren't even in touch of how much tougher real attacking is.
