Why do you guys still war?

So many of you complain here about losing 1 time use troops you purchased with real money, losing wars, etc.

Many complain the war loot doesnt make up for what you lose even in a winning effort.

Why are you still participating in war? What better way to get BGH to fix the problem then quit buying those 1 time use items and quit participating in war.

When they realize no one is playing in their p2w feature they will fix it to get us playing again.

Coz the ones who complain would form hardly 1 percent of the community.
For every one player active here in this community , there are hundreds of others who are silent ... who treat this game like like a game that's it ... don't mind a few bugs here and there ... have achieved the game nirvana (so to speak) so as to not let such trivialities affect them.

Personally i will play till the time pros outweigh the cons. Without spending money ofc.

The complainers here complain of sandbagging , but isn't sandbagging more of a human behavioural issue than Nexon issue ? Thats what i feel like. Lets say if Nexon comes out with a fix for sandbagging, then won't the human tendency find a new flaw to exploit ? Read somewhere - "If you have 10 problems, arranged in descending order of priority, and you take care of the first 7 , then the 8th one will become the biggest problem of your life". True for this game.

I wouldn't be surprised if everyone , who complains on these forums, quits, and NEXON would still be making profits.

Players always look for an edge to win. That doesnt mean the company shouldnt address issues.

If the few make enough noise they will become the many, especially if we can get the top alliances to boycott wars. Those are the people that waste"spend" a lot of money on wars. If they would quit wars and thus stop buying the troop tactics it would at least raise the eyebrows of the decision makers.

As for the glitches, i take them with a grain of salt and a sigh.
I'm not going to give myself a heart attack over a game....

Because we like seeing the new and unique bases and enjoy a challenge!! Yes we are a bit tired of the matchmaking system, but we are focussed and after all, our name 'Last-Outlaws!!' doesn't say anything about quitting when it's a bit hard. But it's certainly not for everyone. As many who have visited us would state, our wars suck. But we also get great feedback from the community regarding them

Because it is fun when it works. We probably boycott every 4th matchup as being completely pointless - no effort on war base troops, all attack easy for NTGs or whatever. Occasionally we get a great matchup and it is a fun challenge. The bugs are irritating, but oh well - not losing any sleep over lost glory.

My alliance wars because it's what ties us together. Raiding becomes very rote after a while, drop medals to stay in whatever range let's you loot efficiently, and spend time at it.

Wars on the other hand offer the chance for true teamwork. Get bases filled, donate to strongholds efficiently, plan out war hits, congratulate teammates on great hits / defends.

Without wars the game is drastically worse, because it's one of the few things that truly ties the community together, both as a whole and within individual alliances.

So war costs a bit of money. I spend about $500/year on the game, mostly to buy crowns when they are on sale. I play golf as well, at $40 per round, 1 or 2 rounds per week during the summer, so that's $800, plus more for drinks from the cart girl and after the game. I'm sure you all spend money on stuff you enjoy, like going to see a game, or the movies. How much do you enjoy this game compared to those activities?

As for troop tactics, I purchase some every couple of months, but during the gifting event we had 5 in our alliance making purchases and everyone in our alliance was stocked up.

i would not war if i was at the elite level ... if you're in the low 20k glory you can judge yourself 'top of the game' and relax .. if you go up too much higher the cracks in current implementation make things not-competitive, the 'glory' isn't really glorious in the (greek) kleos sense.

I agree 100% with everything you said. I also believe that the complainers, some of which just want to hear themselves talk, are the reason for the WW and some of the great changes the game has made. I choose not to say much here mostly because I work too much and the game is my release from the stress, but some of these guys/gals have a point to their complaints. Keep up the good work on all ends and now I will just shut up.

Appreciate that . At the time I wrote above I was just fed up of people not appreciating 8/10 thing BHG did right and 2/10 things where they went wrong . Some people do have valid points to complain about . My motto - give BHG time - then take it or leave it . Constant Complaining won't get anybody far in life.
