Why some people won't show their real level?

Through personal observation, as my walls went from level 8 to 16 while those around me on my team did very limited if any upgrades, walls make almost no difference to your war rank. Offensive upgrades increase it slowly, defensive upgrades more rapidly, and upgrading generals shoots you up the ranks like a rocket.

The total HP of all buildings on your base does impact war weight. But the effect is small enough that it isn't really noticeable.

yemen, while I disagree with you and still am on my words, but can't prove my words as well as you can't due to there is not any source for proving unless a person from the game team like TinSoldier give us a hand?

TinSoldier, could you tell what are all factors in war weight and war rank and share them here or in a different post, since there is no reference about? Please

Strength is based on each member’s attacking power (Troops and Barracks upgrades, War Tactics and Generals) and defensive strength (defense buildings, walls, traps, and generals). Base layout does not affect this calculation. The only way a member’s strength can be increased is if they upgrade their troops, defenses, wartactics, or other contributing offensive and defensive capabilities.

War weight is still calculated 'under the hood' and these offense and defense numbers of individual players are not displayed in-game or in the tools I have.
