I said it on another thread, but I'll reiterate that I don't really see the purpose of a classical rush. The upgrade times are less than negligible and no one in Classical really even needs a week, it's such a short age even if you're maxing.

What if I told you that not everyone shares your attitude about needing a week because multiple people have different play methods and schedules. :)

Then I would thank you for offering your opinion to me free of passive-aggressive behaviour and...oh wait...

I wasn't saying that anyone in classical needs to get out in one week or less or they are a noob. I was referring more to the objective of the event being to get players higher in the ages when they are having trouble progressing due to long upgrade times. I simply don't believe Classical is one of those ages. I don't think many players stay in classical for a significant amount of time or anything close, at least not to the extent that it demands a week devoted to it when we have a week for very, very expansive ages like Industrial and up.

Granted comparing IA to Classical is flawed, yes, but my point was not that one absolutely has to power through classical. I was just suggesting my opinion that the event should start from Medieval onward. Perhaps I'm wrong but this is my opinion and this forum is for expressing opinions about the game.

Edit: Never mind, I cannot read and I was too brash. Apparently this time the Medieval rush is going to be two weeks, so the first week of medieval coincides with the classical rush and then it's one week of medieval. My mistake
