Has anybody encountered the situation that the advertised promotions that are supposed to finish typically Mondays at 2pm UTC (ie 3pm UK) actually finish earlier than this communicated time? It has happened in the last promotion (with the tank updates), and I have had a particularly bad experience, spending significant crowns to finish one of my existing upgrades early in order to free up some people, only to find that the advertised promotion finished earlier than the communicated time and was no longer available. I have been trying to explain this issue to customer support for 4 days now since I had a particularly bad experience, but keep getting put off, asked to use the server timing (?), asked to use a time zone converter, etc. Thanks for the comments.

As Eddie F1 said, I had exactly the same experience with the World Traveler event. I even provided CS with a screenshot showing that it was still before UTC 14:00:00 server time, but they told me that event ended on time. I too spent crowns (on a peace treaty) due to an advertised discount that went away prematurely.
