Another trick I use is when a base has tower right at the edges of a base I send my zepplin and when it's gets within the shooting range I drop 1-2 infantry in front of the tower. Tower targets them first while the zepplin blows the tower.

Another visual bug I often get is that the air defense looks like its upgrading when it isn't, happens to my own base and others bases too
