I said this when Uni just came out, I have a very different view of it all (duh). To me it creates more diversity and dynamics having so much stuff to upgrade and being limited. Why? Well because then all of us won't have the same upgrades etc. A big reason I consider this game to be the best strategy game in the mobile base building genre is because of how diverse it is. Users can be different nations, with different wonders, and lot's of different technologies...it creates a world where every raid/battle you go into will not be like the one you did just before. Why I left CoC is because no matter what base I attacked I knew exactly what I would be up against because everyone has all the same buildings and troops. In addition we all had the same troops for attacks and not control of them...the strategy is very limited and becomes extremely repetitive. Dominations creates a very dynamic arena where there are so many different variables and you'll most likely never meet an opponent that is similar.
So basically what I'm trying to get at is that I like all the additions and upgrades, even if it means I may never get to the end...for me this game is not about reaching the end. And that makes it different from all the other games, in those games I'm just racing to finish. Here I know that's not feasible, instead I grow in the direction I feel will best suit my gameplay and style, and hopefully that direction I take gives me the upper hand I'm aiming to gain. So more workers for better tech? Good, then it's less likely many people have it.
