18:9 ratio display smartphone

Hi, i just bought a Galaxy A8 that has the 18:9 display and as soon as i entered Domination i noticed the difference in colours and contrast that now are very washed. On my old s5 game looks great and i think it has something to do with the display format. Can anyone tell me if i am right because the dislay of my A8 is great for all the rest. Thank you
