Hey guys, I was scouting some bases and I happened across this one base that had this building with this weird purple ring around it.
[1] Can anyone tell me what building this is, what it does and how can I get it.

[2] Where can I buy the elephant Stables ?

In the inventory menu there's one tab that says "BUILDINGS ".
[3] What is that and how do you get these buildings?

Thanks

That’s the apothecary. It was an event building from a few months ago. Personally I think it sucked.
Buildings you can get from completing events. You can also get them from chests but you’re more likely to find Bigfoot then getting one from a chest. The elephant stable I think you can only get in chests or from events.

They haven’t had a building at the end of an event for a while. Perhaps they have gone the way of the troops chests. The cynical me is guessing Nexon is trying to get us weaned off of being able to win buildings and Troop cards so that when they sell them people are more willing to buy them. But I’m really hoping that’s not the case.

Oh its been exactly their plan from the begininng. I have no need to do events anymore if all I get is loot and $h!tty troop cards.

I never try to get past the third level of the events these days. Food and gold are too easy to get with raiding to go out of my way to jump through whatever the hoop of the week is.

But warring with the new expectation of 4 cards per attack plus occasionally loading a few SHs? That won't be tenable without Marco bringing back the troop chests. They either will have to bring that back, modify the SH for fewer troop cards, or drive away the non-spenders completely.

Given the direction the Nexon wheel is grinding I'm surprised the dock is still giving troops.
Sure they use workers, but l fear it'll dry up at some point.

The Apothecary damages troops in its radius. It also lets you train plague doctors and plague catapults.

I used to deploy the event buildings any time for fun, now I save them for when I age up. There's often an expanded troop capacity included and the offensive/defensive boosts can really help at the start of a new age. It's too bad that we haven't seen these buildings awarded in a while.

The resource rewards help during fast wall upgrade sessions. I claim the rewards then, plus refunds, vault resources and the storage capacity of roads, caravans and farms which when added to existing surplus can instantly turn a one or two wall session into a three or four wall session before putting citizens back to work. An added benefit of using all those resources up at once is that markets and mills are empty afterwards.

Of course, given a choice I would prefer the buildings to the resources.
