I got the update already. Here are some initial thoughts.
- I was able to take advantage of the factory discount. That saved me 120k oil. Don't think it was fair that iOS players couldn't use the discount.
- Was pleasantly surprised that the level 7 coalitions cost the same NTGs as level 6. While level 6 is still too expensive in terms of NTGs, at least it didn't go up more.
-Tank depot and garrison upgrades are fairly useless. Really only affects the third wave of spawners.
- Sniper tower upgrade is very small, but in line with the other upgrades, though there is a big jump from 4 to 5.
- APC upgrade seems rather pointless. It just increases HP and damage of the APC itself, not the spawners. Since most of the effectiveness comes from the troops it spawns, the upgrade doesn't do much. I was thinking it would spawn 3 at a time or at least increase the maximum spawned.
- Heavy Tank Mk5 upgrade is nice. It will give non-brit players a chance to compete
- Perk system looks good, but obviously haven't been able to try it yet. I wish the perk rewards were different, as others have suggested here
- I tried the attack helicopter briefly. I was disappointed that it just stays put where you clicked the entire battle. I was envisioning it being able to be redeployed or otherwise move. With only 12 troop space able to be deployed, I'm not seeing a great use from it just yet. The healing is nice, and it won't go off to die like a healing truck, but I'm not sure it's worth it just yet.
