About French nation and Stable

Hello!
I will like to know, if I choice the french nation, and I build stable.
The stat. use for my "defender" will be the one of a classic stable (example "Lancer") or the one of my nation (it's equivalent : Guard Chevalier)?
I think the "defender" statistic use MUST be the one of your nation...
Any answer ? (or anyone agree).

Tim Train actually mentioned this in his last State of the Nations! We considered having special units as defenders, but it wasn't practical. Your Stable will produce the same units as everyone's. Sorry!

I have nothing specail,,, I am a recent player.
And some suggestion I can give is :
For the french nation
- Use the statistic of your nation (this will make the choice of the nation more important and more strategic).
- I know the Basic of the game is to attack. But I think some few of us will like to try to have "trap" defence.
The French nation can give you this choice.
Also the French nation have "advantage" of 3 (6) additional troop... but if you like to have range troop it take to many players to reach the maximum.
At least I suggest the maximum given troop can be 6, but 12 for the French nation (because is additional 6 he can receive).
Find 4 different players how want to give you range troop can be very long (about one attack each day....)
