Advice about GCI radar age

Hi,
I just used the winter age rush to migrate from Space age to digital age.
I noticed now when I attack that there are this new GCI radar in the information age bases in MP.
On wiki it day damage is 10k which blows away my strategic transporters in 1 shot.
Until I upgrade my transports or I learn more about the new recon, where do u guys mostly place this gci? I am trying to grind my way in the first few weeks after just upgrading & this gci is just a big problem! I noticed that even my satellites don’t effect it sometimes..

You will want to place it in the direct flight path of a plane to an important building. In my experience, most people place it in the flight path of their oil refinery or missile silo.

Oh I just moved to digital age and it shocked me in the start, now I found some ways to work around out.
