AI is getting worse and nobody cares

Dunno if u guys are tired of asking for AI fix but i guess this has gone to the bottom of devs priority
Personally i started facing unusual AI problems that goes critically beyond previous problems
My shooters ignore defenders and let them wreck my defenseless troops (artillery and cartes), healing cartes spontaneously freezes and stop healing or keep healing full health troops and let others die
I know it's not the right category to post AI bugs in here but am not posting it as a bug report, am posting it as a question to whoever working on this game about till when AI is going to get worse and worse without fixes??

Really? You never play a battle and go 'You fuckwit tank/general/artillery, what are you doing?' or have have a few rifles shoot at a piece of wall for the entire battle?

It is disappointing that a year on the path-finding and troop AI is abysmal, it's a core component to the game. But there again building defence is more to do with taking advantage of the poor AI and erratic rally than how high your walls are.

People care about the AI issues but a lot of issues have been talked to death on here and yet Nexon has done nothing to remedy the situation. It makes one wonder what the point in saying something is.

It's not that bad unless you're talking about bazooka troops. I saw a post about them before but I'm surprised it hasn't been discussed more. While other troops AI are still playable, bazookas aren't even worth the time to train because of their AI.

To be fair, it's hard to figure out what a good bazooka AI would look like. Regular infantry are supposed to be anti-cavalry (and later antitank) units, but since they indiscriminately attack whatever is closest, they often wander off and aren't there to protect your siege units and healers when cavalry and/or tanks come at them. So when they made bazookas, they gave them a favorite target of Tanks. That's good in theory, but in practice that means unless the are tanks RIGHT THERE, they will wander all over the map in search of them, probably running under the guns of a tower or something and getting themselves killed in short order. But if their favorite target weren't tanks, then they'd be as useless at the antitank role as infantry are.

100% agree that the ai seems to have gotten worse again. Just after the 3 minute mark of this attack video, you will notice the cannons on a suicidal death stroll going around a corner. I attempted to rally them out of it, but sure enough, they went right back on their merry way towards the same mortar while completely ignoring the cannon tower firing upon them. While I think the network stability and alliance search issues are of higher priority, these ai issues need to be looked into and addressed as well. Most of this stuff wasn't around prior to the 3.7 release with the new game engine.

I agree, especially healing trucks. They just go AWOL making trips all around the layout getting themselves killed by traps and towers.

One of the main reasons why I choose the Germans over the French is for the quick rallies. Can never trust those troops to make their own smart decisions.

You guys should try Germans. My blood pressure has gone down since using them...hahahaha

Be careful about your blood pressure when you push rally and the troops take the most stupid way to reach to the target point! hehehe

Yes! Today I experinced this numerous times,awful with their retrain time!

P.s. Yes I take back yesterdays words about better AI :D

I loveee it, when there is one single enemy soldier left and he is shooting my canons one by one while my archers practice on some lonley wall near him...usually I'm low kicking some table or punching some wall...the pain makes it easier to manage the rage...

Short range units (bazooka, infantry, to somewhat machines guns) AI completely destroyed
Ranged units (shooter's AI is so missed up in too many ways) i don't want to list shooter's dysfunctions here cuz they r too many but the end result is we got suicidal units that die in no time
Route taking is also another missed up AI thing and for all units without exceptions

Should have made their range as regular shooter's range
And with a confined area of tank detection, this is a problem for shooters too, run across the map for defenders

Little update: decided to quit WW until they fix AI., it's not funny anymore after 3 canons trying to break 3 different walls near each other at the same time...

Their AI during rally needs to be modified to follow other units rather than selecting different route

Lol, agreed, guess the new trend is german with fury buff and HT army with blitz gate wonder bonus for easy 5 star
