Hi all,

I am a experienced player and just left a alliance to set up my own alliance (Alliance Rebels).

As they is no global chat on this game I just wondered if anyone has any tips to recruit new players to my alliance ?

Any help wil be really appreciated.

Thanks

My method is here for your reference. When there are not many member, set the entry level as low as 300, then increase the entry level till 1200 along with more ppl in. Don't be picky at first but censor and kick inactive one regularlarly. The less number of members, the higher chance your alliance will be seen by ppl wanna join one

Forgot one most important advice: patience, give it a bit time to grow, do not give up easily

I think that the game should offer many more options to help recruitment, such as invitations for instance. After a Multi-player battle you could invite someone you would think is worthy of joining your Alliance. Especially players who have no Alliance or think about leaving their current Alliance for any reason, might be positive in joining. Unfortunately the game doesn't offer any drafting options. As for the forum, this is not helping, at least not for newly created Alliances. A much more direct and active way is needed

Geez, Stark. Are you the forum police? Have you checked out any of the other sections besides general chat lately? They get a dozen views a day, if that. It's not as if the posts are even percolating on this main page anymore. Who cares where people put their probably fruitless alliance requests?

I get it and agree the current situation is not ideal, nor do I have a good ideas to share, but I suspect this idea would open the door to a spam fest. It's bad enough that forums and wiki comments are littered with alliance requests, and this idea would do the same to our in-game inbox. I vote no!

I applaud Stark's effort to restore order to the forums as otherwise every forum section would be full of alliance recruitment posts. Fact is, most aren't interested in recruitment posts so would rather not see them here.

I think we have Drafting posts some time ago, forgot where they were, General Discussions or Gate 🤔
Anyways. We should be able to Invite folks directly; but limited amount, not like we spam Invites.
I understand why Global chat is never involved in the game. But Invite feature still has a chance to be developed. I'd use it, I mean most of the time I know who's who, but too shy to ask to join 😋

That would certainly lead to spamming, so a limitation on how many times you may use it per day would help. That might be limited to say 5 invitations per Alliance, per day. Thus no spamming. The same way, they could add an Alliance merging feature, allowing 5-10 players Alliances to form a new Alliance of 10-20 players. Leaders and Co-Leaders of each Alliance could negotiate several issues, such as who would become the new Leader. If everyone is ok, the Merging could take place. Imagine that happening to 3 Alliances of 4 players allowing them to enter the World War.
As for the Alliance Requests under the Alliance Gate section, that's exactly the purpose of it, even though it is useful for developed Alliances only. As for requests outside the Alliance Gate section, I support LordStark263AC actions to try to organize the forum

@Bootney Lee Fonsworth

I'm only carrying on the tradition. When I joined this forum in late 2017 my first post was, obviously promoting my alliance, and I posted it General chat instead of Alliance Gate. sponge was kind enough to let me know it belongs in Alliance Gate section. So I've been using his "words" ever since.

Apologies if my post annoyed you but I have no intentions of stopping.
