Are War Elephants Retarded?

We don't really like to use the term "retarded" as it can be offensive to the elephants. We like to use "Special needs elephants" instead.

I recruited 2 and they both spent the entire battle time trying to get through a level five wall even when there was an opening three wall sections over. Well, they did finally get through and proved their worth by tag-teaming the ever powerful catapult that was under construction. Im thinking that the AI needs a little tweaking....

War elephants can be very useful if used correctly. Their purpose is not to deal out damage but to soak it up so your high dps troops can work safely behind them. If you have played coc, think of them like golems with a little extra punch.

Oh trust me rod... They aren't worth jack at the moment. You're far, far better off with any version of the ranged or melee footsoldiers than you are with the elephants/knights... For some reason they were never buffed with the playerhorsies
