Seriously!! Is there anyone who feels handicapped when looking at the Engineer??
The only true melee unit left even at the Industrial Age!! (I haven't upgraded the Global miner, so I don't know. But I am sure he will still not carry a gun)
All other ground units have a range when upgraded to appropriate level. Even the Commandos attack with a pistol when no building is left to be destroyed (but who cares the commandos, Right!?)

"The wall miner will only have a melee attack for the first wll breaking." I accept this.

But after that, he become crazy enough to hack at the steel tanks or fortified buildings with a god be damned AXE!! I really think for all of his sacrifices, he really deserves a gun. Even a short pistol should be fine.

Please vote for his brand new toy!

4-housing space is rather expensive for a one-use unit. Giving a bit of range to him would certainly help balance it out. But then again, does anyone use more than 1 or 2 of them?

Ive started using the miner/engineer again, actually Im upgrading now (all 8 days of it zzzz). Love the exploding thing when hes done, that would be SO epic hahaha

I use engineers all the time for raiding oil.... I love figuring out how to get through all those walls and other stuff people use in the futile attempt to protect their oil

Yeah I keep 5 on hand when in raiding mode, that way I have enough for a few raids in a row as they are re-training...
