Best Nation at the End? Atomic Age and more

Hello Guys,

im really wondering about the nations and at least i have seen that the british are the most picked nation at all. Im sure the british are the strongest nation in this game. At this time im playing with my japanese and normally im happy but im thinking about to switch them and take the germans or chinese guys.

Can someone tell me which is the best nation at all and should i really switch japanese? These troops like kazoku of the japanese are not even strong and i have seen that the second troops like chuko-nuh for example are really broken in the atomic age.

I hope you can understand me and my problem because im from germany. Maybe you guys can give me some tips about japanese or arguments about switch the nation and not switch it at all.

It definitley depends on your focus. If thats WW, then definitely british/korean/germans. If its looting etc, then I would also add french as good nation. I have played romans, chinese and germans and he last are definitely best for game experience.
btw you r playing with the worst nation hands down, you will be very OP once you switch, enjoy it!

In short, if you are looking for "what everybody does, i will do the same archer/howitzer/supply truck best strategy nation", choose british .

If you want to experiment and try different army types go for Romans - more leg room to experiment (Am going with 4 HT, 2 MBT, 2 Field howitzers, 5 veteran SMG, and around 20+ roman infantry)

Other nations have different advantages covered in the thread. I have just stated about what the community considers best (Brit) and what works better for me (Romans).

I started with chinese and switched to France when I was EA, now I'm atomic and I still love the french, the tanks served me well even if now I've switched to HT mk5 army. But the reduced formation time combined to the blessing makes the attacks for loot much more fun !

1st choice british
2nd choice german

why british is more practical than german? cuz german depend on factory heavy tanks awesome but:-
1- shooters are much easier to max their university bonus than heavy tanks
2- using heavy tanks is not so practical in multiplayer so u will have to switch ur troop combo more often with loss of oil cost of training heavy tanks
3- to max heavy tanks u need to max at least one factory which is so costy + heavy tanks upgrade cost oil too and their coalition cost oil to upgrade too
4-heavy tanks combo doesn't work against all base designs while brirish shooters based combo does

it's still so fun to play with germans, but will take too much time and resources to play in full glory of heavy tanks
otherwise if ur planning to play regular barrack troops combo with germans, u better off with british in first place

I think a well used HT army can do the job against any base also, I only play with a 5 HT army (completed with 3 field howitzers and 8 infantry) for WW and multi and had no problem to 5 star the bases. An important point however is to have maxed planes which are necessary to destroy the anti-tank guns (or sabotage).

Wrong. Heavy Tanks shine in pvp. Come see my walls if you have any doubts. From lvl 11 to 65 lvl 15 and the rest lvl 14 walls in 2 months of light gameplay. And I'm not even Germans, I play Chinese.

I'm not a fan of British as they don't require much skill to use. Drop 80+ shooters, few howies and healers and watch them do the work for you, boring.

For those of you using HT armies in the atomic age how do you deploy them? I've tried a couple of times and found if I spread them out they get picked off but if I place them together I run out of time before the base is down.

Spread them. You have to be picky about the bases though. I drop them in front of exposed anti-tank guns, or in front of anything that shoots at planes. Then use airplanes to take out anti-tank guns.

any1 who played top wars knows that HT combo doesn't have to work all the time
yes i know they r cool in MP, but not so practical as loss costs much oil
and they r cool in wars too but some designs won't allow u to get 5 stars with HTs specially slow-based designs like the ones most of KA players use

Where did you get these numbers from? French 50% faster in oil? What? 20% faster training doesn't translate to 50% more oil. As others mentioned, where's that DPS bonus drop coming from? It is still 15%, just because buildings have more HP, it doesn't translate to lower bonus damage. Bonus applies to troops DPS, not to % DPS they deal against buildings or troops. Your logic is completely flawed here. Romans are still crap, slightly better than Japs and Greeks.
