Targeting the TC should only be done out of desperation. With proper deployment, you should be getting the 50% QV almost every time.

You're welcome. Takes some practice and you have to be careful, rallying early could move some troops a bit but rallying late basically means rallying on empty space, which would be a disaster. Risk/reward type of thing.

I see your point, but then the subject of this thread should be changed to “Best Nation at different Ages”.

Overall - which to me means more at the top level than at the bottom - the verdict is pretty clear.

One nation I think is underrated is French. I’ve seen them do quite well demolishing bases using their unique troop (tank). The last one they just ignored Missile Silo like it didn’t exist. Doing barely any damage to the tanks. Add on the faster troop training time and more ally troops and you have a solid late game Nation

look at british critically ... shooters have terrible dps unless you use them with skill and a narrow strategy.
the only interesting british trait is the +1 shooter range.

we see how effective it's used but if you aren't a range-ninja or you want a more varied strategy british is not great; imo it's boring.

german is the obvious top-end choice, even though i prefer french.
if i were more skilled i'd have stuck with german; having switched to french i find it more fun.

Granted the Brits give you that +1 advantage but within my Brit army I've used a full HT army, a mix of shooters-tanks-artillery, a mix of shooters-artillery-APCs, mix of shooters-APCs-bazookas, a mix of APCs-artillery-regular tanks.
Just because you're British doesn't mean you can't experiment with various combinations, the Brits simply give you a great fall back option, especially if you include the 15% extra loot.

I'm nearly at Global and still playing as Romans but i am considering switching to Germans. I like the extra DPD with Teutonic Fury.
