Best Nations?

What do you think is the best nation after the recent buff?

Romans- 10% more army, unique heavy infantry-more hp
Japanese- Town center acts as tower, longer peace treaties, unique heavy infantry- more damage
Greeks- 5% refunds, 5 minute off upgrading each age, unique cavalry- 15% more hp/20% more damage
Germans- 5 seconds off rally, 100% rally length increase, 10% damage after a victory, Unique heavy infantry- more damage
French- 20% reduction time for training troops, more alliance troops nations, unique cavalry- 20% more hp and 15% more damage
Chinese- +1 additional citizen, +1 additional defender per age, unique range infantry, faster fire rate
British- 10% loot stolen bonus. unique range infantry, +1 additional range

I still think romans are better but germans looks really interesting with the 10% damage bonus, can you image how that will take place into industrial age? tanks and airplanes will kick ass.

There is a huge post on this forum detailing all the differences between nations and also wonders, so do search for it for more info and advice.

As for the nations, I am Greek and think this is a good option as you save many millions for upgrades with the 5% refund thing and also because the unique unit is pretty awesome. I'm past mid-medieval now and HC is still by far the best option to use when you need to raid and you need to raid a lot. Tons of resources I'm talking about, you don't need to wait between attacks and retrain. I either lose no troops or 1 or 2 HC. So def the best option for me.

Obviously the other good option is French, the unique unit is almost the same, but retrain times are shorter for when you lose more troops. No refund tho so you'll probably more than make up the time you saved by needing to raid more.

I think Romans are a good option as an end game thing. People here say HC isn't relevant in Enlightenment and infantry comes back in style. I don't know myself, I'll have to see.

Fusiliers lost to much of their power to really be effective since the last update. Horsemen got a nice boost. Unique units of French/Greeks are the best. The bonus of Romans/Germans are the best and the Defensive bonus of Chinese and Japanese are also worth it. Just pick what suits your playstyle the most.

I know many hackers who are trying to get top position take Roman while attacking and Chinese while defending.

Yea, don't choose British like I did lol )) Making 726K loot in one combat is nice, but that's basically it. Much weaker than France if you play alot.
