British or Korean archers?

All this love for the archer, while the soldiers still does 5x as much dmg. But anyways, if your archer troop size is 25% or less romans are still better. 50+ normal archers are better then 30-40 british/korean.

while i use british, i only lose around 10-20 archer ( redoubt cant attack british archer, only mortar, thats why i lose less archer )
but now i use korea i lose 30-40 archer, and i always use protect tactic every match, because redoubt can attack them..
i will change to british later while i join dynasti league, get free 2000 crown from achivment , but now im stuck at Empire 1 haha

example:
If Roman archers dps is 64 then 50 roman archers = 3200
Therefore, 40 Korean archers dps = 3600

40 British Yeomanrey is what I work with and the only thing I look out for are catapults/mortars. I also back them up with a supply cart. The extra range makes them untouchable to the majority of the defences.

If archer hp = 400, romans archers = 20k, korean archers = 16k. dmg*hp=64k for the romans and only 57k6 for the koreans. Romans win!

And it would be hard, they'll be a mix of troops for sure and even if not, you can't decide how many you want to release for the test.

Yeah Chinese is tricky, it says shoots twice as fast so one would think they do twice the amount of dps...

the reason for all this love for archer has nothing to do with dps/hp. Dps/hp figures are pointless. Archer pack togheter and are better healed by supply trucks. Soldiers spread across the map. That leads to their so called power being diluted badly. And they die miserably. In a nutshell, they currently suck.

Why aren't Chinese archers the best with their "shoot twice as fast" bonus? Doesn't that mean DOUBLE damage?

Also, how useful is the range on the British archers - I mean can they take on any defensive buildings without being hit themselves?

Chinese archers are like 20% more dps or something. Their the worst of the 3 options.

British archers can kill towers mortars withour getting hit

Koreans pack the most dps

While I have not played the Korean nation yet, I do have 2 accounts and use the British and the Japanese. I am thinking of changing my Japanese nation to something else and have been researching this. As far as Archers go here is what I have found. This is only for the Medieval Age, since that is where I am. BTW, I used this site to find my info.,

For level 4 Archers, all have the same Health, 156. Training time also the same, 50 sec, This is the breakdown.

To me, for just Archers at this level, I would pick the Koreans.

I'm in Medieval with Koreans and if you blink while a bunch of archers all shooting at a building you miss the destruction - it's that quick!
