Brutal matchmaking.... and some suggestions

I honestly thought I had a good grasp of how matchmaking worked..... that is until recently. Something has changed. Nexon should be more forthcoming when they change something that affects game play. Nevermind stronger bases getting lower and lower in our ww line-up even as they gain xp (then again, maybe that is part of the problem).

This war we are outmatching our opponents so badly, it won't be fun for either team. Major waste of time. Yet I don't understand how we could have matched. Somehow, I think that the lower number of participants brings a wider range in average levels. 40 vs 40 have always resulted in closer wars than 20 vs 20.

Today, after searching for wars at 25-30 and even 40 participants, I eventually reduced to 20 for an instant match:

--------Us--Them
CW---13---1
AA-----2----10
Glob---1----4
Small--4----5

They have no chance...

So here's a couple suggestions for Nexon:

- Reduce war searches to 15-25-35 participants
- Put more weight on the top half of ww line-ups to match alliances.
- Offer a button, not to reject matches (99% will be rejected), but to wave a white flag and prevent wasting so much time.

And for alliances:

- Try to put 3-4 sandbags in a 20 vs 20 war. It's part of the game, until nexon comes up with a solution.
- Don't let war searches roll. Stop and re-start your search every couple minutes if you can to avoid these widening of range.
- Encourage your players to move up age when their offense is maxed. Just trust me, work on your defense when you reach AA (to get to level 220). It breaks my heart everytime when my AA 156 destroys an Industrial level 179, and they can't fight back.

15-25-35 would leave no room for 10v10 matches which are most popular below top age levels.

No MM changes have gone live yet. The system is still in testing and iteration but that should be wrapping up soon. As we get closer to launching the new system, I'll be posting a deep dive that covers all of the updates in detail.
