weird mortar action, mortars look for closest target to hit, when this target changes just before they launch their shot, the shot gets canceled and after target re-assessment, the shot fired will carry huge damage enough to wipe many shooters in 1 hit (first shot in video), or causes another shot to be released in a more rapid fire rate than usual -> giving no time for healers to heal wounded troops inbetween mortar shots (2nd shot in video), also notice (3rd shot) which should have been the normal 2nd shoot released quickly
result is 3 rapid strong shots
many defensive buildings in game work in a wrong mechanism and should be fixed before giving more buff to defense and nerfing offense
also note that the incidence of this bug is very high and probably ur not noticing it but in this video is so noticeable and obvious
i had previous post talking about potential huge nerf of offensive units cuz of the way animation system works in this game (in breif, it was about how 5 howitzers can waste their shots and reload if they fire at a house at the same time) which shouldn't happen to make all howitzers reload their shots and only restrict reloading on the howitzer that destroyed the house
and another post about shooters cluster after rally and 60+ shooters wasting their shots for a single defender (u can see the video on my YT channel of the same video in this post)

these kind of bugs are disturbing me so much, and it will become obvious when many players have decent progress in saladin leader (which makes any base impossible to 5 star regardless of ur tactic) and worsen the current imbalance

I have actually never seen the triple shot thing... but i can imagine if someone had done max university research in mortar dps following max university in tower blessing that those mortars would hit pretty hard.

Impossible to five star a maxed out saladin base? How do you mean? I've been five starring maxed out saladins left and right ever since the first few maxed out saladin bases saw daylight. So have many other players in my alliance and other alliances.

yep those 2 factors are enough to wipe ur troops if u don't have armor blessing

I don't think KA bases with max saladin are on ur list, unless ur using hefty amount of premium troop cards

the tripple shot occasionally but the strong shot is common, u will notice that sometimes a single mortar shot takes out most of ur shooters because of it, when the delay increases the damage per second accummulates into a single strong shot, the tripple shot state was because the delay was too much and the mortar took the time of 2 shots to release one shot so it had to release the second shot immediately after the first one

Motaz Tarek , I see your point, but it also didn't help that your troops were filing through a hole in the wall and made a nice group portrait for the mortar! :D
Very unfortunate circumstance.

yea i know, if u noticed my fighters were on their way to the mortar why I didn't bother drawing my troops back, till the 3 shots fell on the poor guys XD

I see nothing unusual about the mortar fire in your short clip, your rifles are clustered and they take a direct hit and all die. As for your assertion that Saladin bases can't be 5 starred, we do it every war.

doing it evey war, yea that's why korea army is beating the s**t out of everyone :D

KA is not the only team with Saladin bases, I agree they are the deepest and best alliance out there. On the other subject I think your complaints about the AI are reaches at best but mostly just excuses for poor strategy.

I don't see absolutely nothing wrong on this video's ,poor army management and willing to blame someone or something (but not me) so what you are trying to point out here cuz I missed the idea ? Explaining you what ? How to attack or something else I didn't get it .

KA bases with max saladin and 3D coalitions, bazooka tower, and a Stronghold bursting with elephant archers on my list, yes. I'm using cards, of course. It is simply necessary to counter a Stronghold full of elephants. I most often use 4 rifle cards.

u haven't seen my attacks to conclude if i have a poor strategy or not, AI in this game is a piece of crap and even though this is not what am complaining about here, everyone knows how shit fighters AI and to less healers, and shooters AI
my post is about animation system, which represents a major part in this game, it's affecting the damage per second which is the main determant of battle course and whether ur going to finish in time or not
and i can list every unit's animation system defect here for example fighters missing their defender target cuz it's on the move and fighters are not in one line while shooting it, which can be a day breaker if ur trying to save a healer or bunch of clustered howies alone without protection for a defender heavy tank

if u think these factors are not important now cuz everyone is just playing the easy way with british and getting good result don't come and cry about how weak offense will be in the future as the devs tend to nerf the offensive aspect of the game in almost every update

do i look like an amateur to u? i know that mortar won't kill my shooters and I didn't bother to draw my shooters, but 3 shots in 2 secs killed them if u think that rate of fire for the mortar is normal watch the video again and go play a battle, compare it to normal rate u will see
i finished this battle with perfect score and I don't care if my shooters die am not winning about it i just detected a bug and reporting it
