Well, we had hit a nerve here... Dont inflate yourself, dude (and do not derail the thread while at it). Nobody even touched the debate about who have the awesomest life outside the game, casuals vs hardcore or competence on conducting the strategies on the game. Just keep it to yourself.
Just goes to show how ADD u are and why ur a casual....

I think that reminding what this game niche is all about is really not needed. We all know that those games are about grinding, but the majority of them are not UNFAIR on the upgrades cost-benefit ratio to people who do not want to open wide their wallets and/or play that game called "life outside the phone/tablet screen"
So yes...u do think that casual = having life. And by extension hardcore =/ having a life. It would help move the conversation along if u could keep u own comments straight. This gold fish memmory thing is pathetic

Yeah, now go parade on your glorious carriage under the triumph arch, with your well deserved hardcore gamer trophy.

Now, back to topic: what you guys think if a rebalacing takes place? If upgrade prices drops (instead of resource rate increasing) it will benefit only newcommers and players who neglected their farms and caravans while the ones who kept their economy up-to-date will be left with nothing to celebrate. What the devs should do if such a thing take place? Free crowns? Partial in-game refunds?

None of that. Players dont get free crowns or refunds for balance changes

Ill ride my carriage u ride ur i have a life high horse into the sunset while u flitter from game to game like a special butterfly :) just suck it up, u wasted time upgrading economy because ur a newb and make poor gaming decisions. Theres no balance change coming to change ur bad decision. Theres no compensation if it does

Yeah, but unlike the troop functionality balances, wich gets to you some advantage one way or another, economic balances could have their benefit near null to the ones who invested on their economy earlier. Just imagine you upgrading your unique unit today and then tomorrow a balance takes place and that upgrade of yours became 30% cheaper? Will you not be a little pissed and think that you deserved a little compensation for the decision that affects your investment?

Not at all. When world of warcraft came out it took a long time to reach lvl60. Now u open an account with wow and u can be lvl 60 in a day. What compensation should the older players get for the months they invested to get to lvl60 when newb players get it so fast. What compensation do players get when their equipment becomes obsolete with new releases? In 5 years getting to industrial age will be much quicker for newer players. League rewards will be higher, there will be weekend challenges to feed them resources. So u can play the game as is with the rest of the early adopters and ride the balance waves. Or u can wait in 5 years when everything will be easier and the game will be perfect for casuals

Dbuk, just remember your 3 weeks without dominations ))) I'll tell you how it works, physically. Your life does not bring you enough chemicals your brain needs to feel happy. Therefore, you spend 4 hours in the game to build level 11 walls just to convince yourself that you actually achieved something, so your nerve system starts generating endorphin to reward you, little ch*ater ))) Casual players who's interesting life completely outcompetes any game, just wondering 'how the hell they offer me such a deal of playing 4 straight hours and still asking me to pay for that?' :) so they ALWAYS have an option to return to their life, while you have the only option to look for another game. Feel the difference.

I will agree economy needs a buff. Add 20 resources produced/hour from the previous upgrade when the production buildings repeat the 200 resource production. That would mean...if the highest economy level is 14, that would save....about a fraction of a single raid compared to the current production.

Puleez :) my 3 weeks without dominations i played siegefall a new release but it wasnt as good. I wouldnt go 3 weeks without doing some sort endorphin boost. Also u spend 4+ hrs in the game too :) but u are right. If i was rock climbing or jumping out of planes i probably wouldnt be playing at all. So were all losers together lol

Yea, but I have an excuse, dbuk ))) I've designed such a combat system for this genre that everything else looks like a FarmVille in comparison to it. You'd be a perfect play tester when we're ready lol )))
