Charlemagne’s Elephant event is a rip off!!

[FONT=trebuchet ms, helvetica, sans-serif]We have undertaken the Elephant event, and from multiple crates obtained, most of us have only received 2, yes 2, elephant troop tactics... the rest have been useless speed ups...which barely put a dent into lengthy upgrade times!!

Ripped off is a bad choice of words, but let's be real for a minute we all expected a bit more from this event. I have.

What rip off. All you have to do is loot, for a chance for greater chest Not that kind of event to kill defenders or towers
You're not losing anything, you are gaining something.

I believe for the first time that this event gives something meaningfull to the players. This is an event worth doing imho

Out of 6 chests, I have received 2 sieges and only those timers I can't use....NO Eas...Making me wonder if I will get the last stage at 85M res

it is possible Mountainking . I am at 80M out of 85 right now. Almost done! And I have 2 more accounts that in total need 20M loot. Time is the key factor here. Don't waste time finding the perfect base for loot. Just attack whatever is outside of walls and use only the troops that will do the job.

Really nice event, got 3 EA, 3 Siege Elephant and 2days and 6hrs speed ups, meantime was able to upgrade my walls, and will do my generals. Thanks

Just drop down to 400 medals and attack 20-30 levels and an age below you. I'm 40/75 million completed and I only make 6-8 attacks daily. Anything free in this game I'll take advantage of. I'll never complain about free.

I completed it on the first day, so that’s 14 chests, and received 6 EAs out of that. I do think it’s just RNG, since I only got 2 siege elephants out of all the chests, and the rest were speed-ups. How are you getting “ripped off” if it’s a free event? Are you entitled to more EAs for gracing Nexon with your gracious presence? Yes, they’re OP units, but the event is good regardless since it gives people more incentive to raid, something which you should already be doing.

Out of 14 chests I got 0 EA's and 4 useless Siege Elephants. Hard to be disappointed when one expects nothing though. Too bad there wasn't some mechanism to spend the 60,000,000+ loot that just disappeared due to max storages during this event.

On the positive side, the speedups will get a few more 50% off general upgrades done. So there's that.

Similar here - advantage of being at a lower age! Free event with rewards.. No complaints.

I just finished the event. Spoils of war were:
2 EA
1 siege elephant
3 days and 12 hours worth of speed ups

not bad if you ask me

I would simply suggest not calling in an elephant chest event when there aren’t any elephant troops in it

my favorite events are the ones that give you a building reward (like the elephant stable). i hated the events that gave troop tactics, especially because they gave so few of them. this is like one of those events. at least it's something but for cold war players it may seem like too little.

What are you all expecting? The percentages are available, the rewards are up to chance, no-one's twisting your arm and, most importantly, this is NEXON we're talking about! Besides, as kilgore_trout said, you're getting free stuff.
Don't bother complaining for all the reasons l mentioned.
