It’s good to know that reports of potential cheating are taken seriously.

i have written to both Tin Soldier and nb4powerup in Private Messages about a cheating team in our last war, one where TCs were hacked and far more troops than should be allowed poured out to defend bases. Neither has yet replied. The cheating players in the Russian Legions (lvl 9 perks) alliance are still there. Nothing YET seems to have been done and these people are on to their next opponents, poor suckers.

What does “seriously” mean exactly?



For me cheating is serious because it makes the game unfair. If the game is unfair why play it?

Coming to forums to complain and wondering for a satisfying answer is like hoping your politicians wont steal any money.
Its Nexon, they dont give a feck about their player base/customers, if they would want to ban the cheaters they would have done it in a blink. Same for decoy lags, extreme upgrade times, and more problems. I still want to have faith because I really love this game, I think and Im sure its quite better than the actual jewel of mobile RTS (CoC), but tbh, I dont think Ill be playing this team by the same date.
Want some advice? Go to twitter, go to Nexon Main Chief profile and spam tuits like "look at DN forums, fire your dev team out, make DN great again"... Or just simply look for another game with a responsible dev squad, like any title from Supercell. Not too much we can do here but gaining more bars under our nicks.

I've sent TinSoldier a few pm's and he didn't respond right away but he did respond. I had to wait a few days but there's probably hundreds of people messaging him. Plus he's responded a number of times since then.
How long since you pm'd him?
This ''instant validation'' generation has to learn that not everything can happen immediately!

Manifesto I take your point. PMs were initiated on November 26th. To date no action has been taken. Instead the alliance in question has grown in numbers, the cheaters are still there and for the record their glory points are currently 22,995.

I received a reply yesterday to my PM to Tin Soldier, who says he has examined the alliance in question and has asked Customer Support to monitor them more closely with a view to taking further action.

Today they have 23,009 glory and 44 players and the players with hacked bases are still there. Clearly they won their last war as their glory has increased. Presumably they are now on to playing against another alliance with their hacked bases.

Update: Both nb4powerup and Tin Soldier have now replied both stating that the cheating team will be “investigated”. Note that I and other players provided multiple screenshots of the cheating in operation at the time we reported it.

As of today the two cheating players mentioned earlier are still visible in the alliance (Russian Legions) and their alliance’s glory stands at 23,030. The third, sh30, is not visible.

The glory of the cheating alliance, Russian Legions, (level 9 perks) has increased again and now stands at 23,031. Both cheating players are still visible in it. It is now over a week since these players were first reported to Customer Service (November 25th).

Personally I picked up this game for two main reasons at the beginning :
historical game & having smart security!

But now game is full of cheaters and hackers are a lot of steps further away from game security!

Security is everything for anything!

I am sure the designers are not only aware of the cheating but are also concerned about it as it threatens their revenue in a number of different ways. Therefore I expect they will deal with it, if possible.

Update: As of this morning there is no change visible at the alliance reported to be cheating.

I received a reply from Tin Soldier to a PM asking when we might expect action to be taken and whether, as it seems likely the entire alliance is aware of the cheating by specific players within it and others there may be doing the same the whole alliance would be investigated for cheating and not just the specific players initially complained about. I was told that he doesn’t know a timeline but that indeed the entire alliance will be investigated.

Today Russian Legions (9) are at 23,513 glory indicating another World War win for them. The cheating players are both atill visible.
