Clear forests with food...

Don't lumberjacks need to eat?

This would be a good use of food, particularly later in the game when oil is no. 1, gold is no. 2, and food isn't in the running...

I might be wrong, but back in April forests were cleared using food and changed to gold as part of some Up/Downgrade

Ridiculous long time too. My next forest is 3.5m and 5 days.

I started a 2nd account a week or so ago and those stone age blighters could clear a forest in 15 seconds.. Some progress.

You've obviously never played game of war before. Try having years of upgrades, not weeks or days. YEARS! There are some upgrades in game of war that literally take 700 days. Again, Game of War is pay to win, but still. This game to me is like gravy compared to game of war. These times are nothing in the scheme of things!

I agree with this 100% gold for forests is dumb. It takes manpower aka food to chop down trees. and I ALWAYS have leftover food.
