heavy tanks are better than shooter/howie against weaker bases, while shooter/howie are better than heavy tanks against tough bases. you’re only seeing the forer part of ht’s

My base isnt a walkover... some defences have not been upgraded by choice to engineer it for war.

I certainly shall not be spending vast amounts of time upgrading them now anyway. Nexon have done that for me...lol

So I can sit back, relax, do 1 war a month (by the time I collect all the crud needed) and donate troops to people.

Not quite how the game is described on Googleplay, but thats what its become.

Not sure what Heavy Tanks attack your bases, but the proper ones that come to me with all the additional support etc barely take a dent. The 3 or 4 Heavy Tank Event Armies get stopped by your Landmines? Perhaps I shall get mine upgraded another level to max them out... ;-)

Yup, I haven't been pestered by heavy tanks since global age. Usually maxed out walls with lots of chambers are enough to discourage most HT attacks, there's always an easier target.

Heavy tank armies? You mean to tell me that your base is somehow so lucrative that people are using heavy tank troop tactics in addition to the factory ones?

You choose to engineer your base to lower your war weight. Such a strategy has its merits and drawbacks. You don't get to have your cake and eat it too.

I'm going to let everyone poke fun at me, for I've been spending hundreds of dollars monthly. WHY is the big question. I've been playing since before World Wars. I was super excited with the new Embassy and stronghold. That's when my money started flowing into Nexons bank account. Since then we've extorted by the addition of the University and Museum. Since then, we get updates about 'improvements' from the developers, but almost every post from players in the forum are complaints. Since then, many of my long time allies have left the game. Since then, countless other players have left the game. I suppose those are the former players coming to the realization that this game isn't worth the aggravation and frustration. I think we all are smart enough to know that for Nexon, it's all about maxing out their profit margins. Now we have been teased with the idea of rebalancing. I've made the extensive calculations only to confirm one simple fact. To be competitive in both multi-player battles and World Wars, it will cost us players an additional 23% increase in spending our money. It's a great business plan for executives and admins looking for more profit, but it's actually a short term goal spelling the end of a truly successful business. I don't know any company or corporation that has survived loosing the most important part of the business - their loyal customers.
My advice is to keep it simple. Simple is FUN! It's just a war game, not a college course on so called History. The last time I checked, a million people spending a dollar is still greater than a thousand people spending ten dollars. This is why stock in Walmart is far higher than Macy's.
Do I expect a sudden change in the focus of this game? No! But when there's no one left for me and my alliance to battle,..

Ha ha sucker. Guess I should be nice since you confessed your sins but the reason gaming has become awful is because people keep falling for the obvious manipulations. Remember when gaming was fun? Think ps3 when you didn’t pay to win. You just played for fun and used skill. Crazy I know. Honestly I’m about to dust off the old ps3 and quit modern gaming all together to many chumps paying for victory to bother with anymore.

Honestly im havent been playing long ( just done Gunpowder Age) but the main proplem is not the costs, noone ever cares about thoes 80.000 foood costs ( maybe the under medieval age ones idk) Its the time. The time for building up tatics is ridiculously long. This game is all about active which is war and loot so why u guys not improve the time cost on tatics and troops.

Changes are good. Now about new update let’s wait to see how things will work out. One thing is obvious, that 5* will be much harder. Personally I like that. Well done people @Nexon.
Another thing I want to bring up, is that University research is taking so long and In my opinion it should be given more reward from Nexon’s side. First balance update was NOT enough. You guys need to reward MUCH MORE the players who had spent YEARS on University research. That all from me for the time being! Thx

I will say that the additional are nice I don't see why we need to nerf the decoys so much. I understand that it is a powerful tool and most people just use the max amount of them to beat whatever base they come up against. My problem is that my alliance is now a P2W alliance and we are currently up against an alliance that clearly pays money being that every base has an estate even the gunpowder ones. Decoys are the one of the best tools against fighting a stronghold full of troops and now that decoys have been cut down considerably that strategy is gone. I mean barrage has been buffed but its not going to help like decoys would.

I applaud you for continually working on making the game equitable for all. I'm glad you're addressing the decoy tactic. Even though I've taken advantage of it hundreds of times I never thought it was a fair tactic. I thought you might just increase it to two spaces though instead of reducing it's effectiveness but this should be interesting.

My experience (current level 225+) so far based on multi player attacks (without troop cards):

1. I am still able to 5 star bases below my level and +10 level with existing army composition but... now a) I have to use 2-3 tactics (still sticking to decoys as others are not upgraded at all) per attack b) It is also taking about 15-30 seconds more to complete an attack c) occasionally I lose a plane and losses that used to be very small have become significant

2. While doing friendly challenges in the +25 range, a single mistake can cost you a star and the time is nearly 30 - a minute more than earlier. Losses are very heavy and very few survive the attack.

In multiplayer nearly every attack used to be profitable that is no longer the case. I have not switched over to WW troop formation yet which is generally bazooka heavy (I only use a small number for multiplayer attacks to reduce oil losses) and I hope that experience (in another 12 hrs) is better.

Hey im playing the game for like 2.5 years i liked every update its 1 of the only games the i wasted money on and played for that long... if u want to improve the tactics so i guess u should just add a second war academy but thats not the point...
u know how many months i wasted on university to get my players stronger? Months ! How much raids i made to get emilia done? Months ! And how long i do my best to get my army to the best of it .. and 1 day after all that work my army is useless im losing to much lower lvls then me atleast 2 plaines per attack if not the whole army and suddently i feel like a begginer !
i think you guys to pushed that defenses update ! Attacking a player my lvl now is impossible so please nexon i ask u to rethink about that defences issue because i consider quit and so as few of my friends i can give u names if you want in private .
im a fan of ur games i used to play GMS for few years (the 2nd game i wasted money on) i quit it because it became to easy and now you making the same mistake but opposite please get attention on this comment ! And a great weekend

Agree. Who cares about cost??? We only care to be able to loot more oil and to spend less time in improvements.
