Create missile silo now or wait for discount and upgrade planes?

I'm assuming missile silos will be at the end of the rotation for discounts, but not sure. Contemplating just sucking it up and getting the silo now, on the other hand I could use the oil for discount generals or planes or something. Thoughts?

I always do discounts over normal.

The best time to build a silo was the day before yesterday (when you could farm up 160k oil in 1 day with TH). The next best time is during the discount event.

If you are building level 1 silo do it now. If you are upgrading then wait for discount.

Getting the silo asap will save your precious resources . So that's how silo pays back.

if you don't have a silo and the oil to be able to build it, it should not even be a question.

Create it now. I always wait for discounts, but I felt the silo was that important I built it immediately. I have not had a serious attempt at destroying my base since.

Absolutely worth it. I don't really get attacked anymore in my AA or GA bases with Silos. And now thanks to the update, even the oil raids have almost completely stopped, too.

the silo is so powerful that you should start constructing it as soon as you can
