The more those kind of games u play the more wise choices u make Patience is the key with them. It actually doesn't matter if u speed up certain building/upgrade etc. while there r still tons of days ahead of u. What difference does it make if u play this game 3 or 4 years? Actually the longer u play it the longer all the fun u have So it's not only where u spend your money and remember that u can always save them unless u r a millionaire. You also have to keep this in your mind that one day u might not be able to work so it's a wise choice to save money wherever u can
I've played few games like this one before and I still wonder why do I keep playing them. It's much more fun to spend 100$ on one AAA PC or console game and have real sense of completion while here it takes years and years and someday u just quit because it will take u few days to raid enough resources to upgrade a single wall piece (ie. Clash of Clans) Everybody must give up one day once u realize it's impossible to play further and real money won't make any difference. Game must be fun, otherwise it's a job which costs your time and money and give u nothing in return
