So with the silo being the current strategic nightmare I have seen many players say that it would be fine if there was a suitable counter to go with it.
My suggestion is an overhaul of the demolition tactic to have an extra effect where it causes a permanent (or scaled if too OP) reduction in the rate of fire to the affected tower/defender building, similar to the mute effect of fighters.

This would help to balance out the big issue of the silo where it fires too frequently and removes the ineffectiveness of the current demo tactic where it isn't strong enough to actually destroy anything while not making the tactic too OP. I feel it makes realistic sense too since a damaged building would be difficult to operate efficiently and it will lower the building health enough to make it just that little bit easier to destroy with troops.
