Device Linking Issues

Kind of a long story. I played Dominations quite a few years ago and was terrible at it so I quit. That game was linked to my Game Center on iOS. A few years later I started playing again but my new game wasn’t linked to Game Center. Today I upgrade my device and I want to link my newest game to it but the old game that I had quit is what comes up on my new device and I can’t figure out how to fix it. Can anyone here help me out?

Save game is linked to your mobile phone, not to your account.
In my case I play on Android, but maybe it's the same for IOS.
If I play DomiNation with account toto@gmail then I sell my smartphone (after reset/delete of data), then if buyer start to play DomiNation with it's account foo@gmail, then he will use my city. And we will play on same city. Support is aware of this... but it's ok for them...

True. But it only occurs in Android phones somehow. iOS game datas will be erased once we reset the device.

Nate have you ever tried to reset your device?
I found it tricky to explain this device linking either account issues since I can't see what exactly happens in your device
I have several accounts, several mobile devices, and never once in my life had account issues that made me unable to play. Not that I never faced troubles logging in/switching accounts though, but it could always be fixed.
