Did people really need more incentive to go British?

The British are very OP and I'm probably attacked more by them then all of the other nations combined. So imagine my surprise when I open up the new event tab to find it will apparently favor nations with ranged special troops and even suggests changing to be British! I guess having a developer gush about how much the university helps his British shooters was to subtle?

Also was any thought at all given to the Japanese, Roman, and German players when this was designed?

British OP... probably.

French players love French, Germans the same, Koreans the same. Ask any of those 4 to change once established and often the response is mo way.

i don't mind any week long events, even if focused on one of the most 4 played nations. It's temporary and at best some fun.

If you read the event description, there's no specific advantage for the British nation. All you have to do for the event is train your nation specific troops, tanks will count as 10.

If anything, the British (and Korean and Chinese) are disadvantaged. shooters take the longest, and cost the most, to train per troop space.

Not really... Most active players will probably train enough ranged troops in a week to complete the event without training ranged specifically for the event.

How many Heavy Infantry did you train last week? There's a Enlightenment Age player in my alliance who switched to Germans a month ago, today he was asking where the 'Vandals' were as he couldn't find them to train.

I move from Korea to Brits some months ago. Best move I ever made in this game.
