Did rebalance killed fair matchmaking?

Has anyone else noticed that after the rebalances the fair (as it was possible) matchmaking is gone? My alliance's three last wars are impossible. Glory pts for win >1.000, Glory pts for loss < 10. The opponent has at least 5 CWA and 10 AA, while we have 1 CWA, 5 AA.

I'd like to believe that this is a temporary bug instead of an intended change. Please have a look at matchmakings again. For me it's WORTHLESS to be matched within 5 minutes against an impossible opponent, thus WASTING 2 DAYS. I MUCH MORE prefer FAIR MATCHMAKINGS that could take even 5-6 hours to complete. But would save me from a USELESS WAR THAT I CAN'T ESCAPE ALL HAVING TO DO WAITING FOR 2 DAYS hoping for better luck next time

Our Alliance matchmaking seems a tad better since the rebalance, and our matches usually take less than 5 minutes. In our last WW, our opponent was stronger and we lost by 1 Star. Our current WW seems we are the slightly stronger team so we should win this one. Stalemates seem rare since the rebalance and others have commented similar findings. However, a potential solution may be the implementation - if feasible - of a ‘Surrender’ or ‘Pass’ option with a very short 5 minute availability window onced matched, and if used, a 48 hour cooldown. So basically a team could receive a single mulligan if they were grossly missmatched in a WW. An unintended consequence of the ‘Pass’ idea is that it may unfairly target strong teams where they are stuck perpetually looking for a match because all teams are ‘Passing’. No easy solutions.

We've been getting better war matches too, but I didn't want to say anything in case I jinxed it....

Actually, stalemates dissapeared after the time limit was implemented.
