Disturbing accounts not only linked by Google play?

Got my self a new phone a month ago and passed on my old phone to my son. Did a factory reset and reconfigured the phone with his Google account. Today he got all mad on me because I would have used his account to play Dominations. What happened when he installed dominations, my base was loaded. And no it was not connected, and my google account has never bin used on that phone after the factory reset.
Are bases linked to phones as well? Old phone was Galaxy s7.

The same thing happens on IPhone if I only reset settings back to factory default. When I erase all content and reload iOS then it starts a new Dominations account as expected.

Well that looks like a bug I would think. Good I didn't sell my phone and passed it on to my son.

Yes it will always be linked to (Android) phone unless you hard reset/wipe it (Resetting to factory settings will only soft reset it)
Do you have any other Android you have never installed Dominations before? Or iOS devices? They would be required to create new account incase you choose not to hard reset your old phone.

I used the second method No Angel. Don't think I missed a option. Still if my account is not configured on that phone it should not load I would think.

Berend_War it will be a long story to explain about the hard-soft reset stuff lol.
The point is, your phone is like a computer. When we reset it and put an updated OS, datas in drive D stay there, only drive C is wiped. (And vice versa, if D is set to accomodate applications)

There is also another method, but you need to learn it, search root explorer app. You can remove cache datas through that method also.

I'd suggest to use other phone to create new account for your son, that's the simplest way. The consequence is, that phone will also store the game data as well.

Wait, how about your new phone? Just use it!
You'll have to clear app data also (this time no need to soft/hard reset)
After loading the game, it will load the base you have created to finish tutorials right? Just use that base and link it to your son's Google Play ID! Voila
