Recovering previous game

I have just got a new phone and installed DomiNations. It is making me start again which I really do not want to do. It is also not letting me connect my google play account to the game so I cannot load my previous game. Can someone please help?! I'd be gutted if I had to start again. I know my gamer tag/ number of my previous game if that helps.
