Everyone is welcome as long as they act civilized and not attack or insult other members. As usual you comments here are only meant to create more drama.

Hi Horsepower. Have never insulted anyone out there, I'm sure, as i haven't posted a word there for months... You might have applied collective pledge, which is far away from being civilized, by your own words. Keep your safe playground for yourself, but please do not try to teach me about manners. Good luck with the game, though.

Shouldnt be a big loss as you hand't logged in for months. about 7-9 members violated the terms of DnP and repeatedly proved they couldnt play nice w others, therefore the enitre team got banned. It's unfortunate for you the repeated acts of your teammates compromised your teams ability to be part of this great community.

Why advertise that this is open to "all"? It's most certainly not. There is not a single representative from a top alliance, because the organizers have deemed them to be "sandbaggers". Don't bother applying if you are not in their elite group. Don't know why this is being sanctioned by the developers, when they themselves have declared that none of the top alliances sandbag.

But whatever, have fun. That's what matters. Just pointing out that the advertising is misleading, and that potentially the best players are being arbitrarily excluded on whims.

I think that's why they are posting on this forum. So other alliances can send their own representations (if desired) to this event.

It's still ridiculous to exclude individuals from an alliance based on the actions of the whole alliance. Especially true in this event, where it's supposed to be individual skill. Who cares if the alliance they play in "sandbags"? If it's supposed to be a battle of "All-Stars", it's entirely conceivable that the best players are in the excluded alliances. But again, that's fine. It's a private group and you can do what you want. It just bothers me that the devs are publicly advertising this, when a large portion of the most skilled players are being discriminated against.

Open to all, but you have adhere to their rules, not Nexon's. If you behave, jump through hoops, play the way they want you to play and pass the test, you might be accepted in the higher levels....which is all good, we do the same in our alliance. My problem is that Nexon supports this.

From their server:

__***New Processes***__
**Open Tier** - When a new person joins, an Admin/Mod will set them up with the appropriate name and alliance tags. The player is set up with access to all the OPEN alliance channels with no further questions.

**Fairplay Tier** - Anyone interested in obtaining access to these rooms needs to belong to an already cleared fairplay alliance or provide screenshots of the following: The top page of the war report, the top 5 and the bottom 5 in their current war. This will be checked against current criteria for identifying stackers. More information may be requested in certain cases. To start this process direct message an Admin or Mod.

**Operation Oligarchy Tier** - An alliance interested in becoming a part of the Operation Oligarchy family may go through the application process and, if approved, join and gain access to these areas as appropriate.

I just don't understand how an individual is shunned due to the actions of an alliance. I can see banning an individual from the group if they are shown to cheat, be rude, exploit a glitch, etc, as those are individual actions. But ban them because their alliance they belong to doesn't play as they think they should? Come on. It's like a Dominations game supremacist group, and Nexon supports this discriminatory group.

A sticky doesn't equal support. We don't set the rules for offsite channels, those are up to those that created the channels. They wanted to do something fun and I'm all for that. Put the pitchfork down and ease up on the trolling/insults. Thanks :)

This has nothing to do with sandbagging. It's about getting players together from many alliances to have a fun war with no pressure of glory. There are plenty of alliances on DP who use sandbags and while I cannot speak for them, they seem happy to be there and contribute to the conversations about the game without being harassed. We don't exclude anyone who wants to contrbute good conversation and add to the community's fun atmosphere, discussing the game we all love to play. As a matter of fact there are more open rooms than there are fp rooms and open rooms are where most of the conversations happen. You should join and see for yourself Quovatis. QuébecGlory did and he hasn't disputed the fact that he was welcomed and not at all harassed because of his alliance. We are happy he tried us out and hope to see him more in the future.

The rare instances where people have been banned was because they weren't being respectful to others. DP is not an alliance, it's a community and all communities have rules. Our main rule is to be kind and respectful to one another. I believe this community, Nexon Forum has that exact same rule as a matter of fact.

We have worked very hard to make DP an inclusive, fun place. We would love nothing more than to have more players from top alliances joining in on the conversation and to share their knowledge of what it's like to play with the top teams. We have quite a few already there. We'd love to have the top players in our all-star war too that's why we posted the invite here.

I'm sure it gets pretty intense fighting those high level wars. it would probably be a nice break to do a war without so much pressure. I know I'm looking forward to spreading my wings and playing on a team with some of the great people I talk to on DP. Everyone needs a break and we are supplying it. And as far as Nexon is concerned it seems logical that they would support something that brings the DomiNations community together like this. And we really appreciate their support.

Hi Gail, charming words from a charming person. Still sad, that I can't join your discord channel... Maybe it's a discord issue, but we can't join the advertised channel/server. I believe, you banned those in the sin bin (for a collective misconduct?) also from there.
When we are at it, I feel embarrassed though, that you stated, that you have banned me, for not being respectful. It's simply not true. You have banned me for being in a certain allIance.
DP is a nice project and it is definitely a more lively place, than the forum here, lately (hats down for the efforts). But maintaining the status quo (top alliances are locked out, as Quovatis stated above) makes sure, that many of the members there have still no idea how the game is played on the top of the leaderboard. If you think it helps, I'm fine with it. Keep up the good work, but please don't twist the facts. Peace...

Yes it's all a rich tapestry, Anyhoo, just wanted to say thanks to all for helping grow the event. It's been cool to see the register fill and see new people dropping into the server like the opening scene from The Terminator - all due in part, i'm sure, to everyone who put this thread up, rhymed, bumped, stickied, approved and disapproved - thanks and looking forward to a great event.

Thank you for the kind words. These are the last words I will speak about this so here goes... I'm sad you cannot enjoy our server too. It's unfortunate your alliance mates have kept you from doing that. I wish things would have turned out different. Without boring folks with the details, we gave your friends (several of them) multiple opportunities on multiple occasions to play nice and they chose not to. One alliance out of hundreds on our server. One top alliance out of the many on the leaderboard who are welcome to join.

Very civil et adult answer Gail, I will give it a try. I just don't need to be told how to play the game, this has always been my beef. We never have negative comments, except when someone "knows better" than us. Live and let live. Complaints to nexon about strategies you might not like is acceptable, but not shaming of alliances or individuals (unless rude behavior of course, this is never acceptable, like Chris' comments to me)
