So the next age is the industrial age, but in what time period will this be exactly? Because we also saw tanks and planes and stuff, but shouldn't those be for an age after the industrial age, in which we only have things like revolvers, gatling guns and dynamite? If so, how many more ages are planned for after the industrial age and what are you gonna do after you reach the Space Age, no more game updates?

Thank you for doing this, developer interaction can only help this game become more successful.

Will oil be a new resource? if so what will happen if players who are of a lower age who get some oil in a raid?

Will there be a rebalancing of the economy, buildings get far too expensive for what you are able to earn in later levels. 130-150 resources per hour per farm/caravan upgrade when things cost millions is really bad. This causes raids rewards to be low and half my alliance has quit due to not wanting to spend 3 hours online to grind out a castle.

Will special units be adjusted to fit national identities? It looks like Knights will turn into tanks. But having Greeks and French having the most powerful tanks is un-thematic at best.

Last question: Will new nations eventually be added such Americans or Aztecs? And is there any plans to rebalance national powers, Romans are currently dominaing the charts.

I know you guys can't do anything about it but it is really hard to use proper formatting on a mobile phone on this forum.

industrial age was late 1800's through most on the 20th century. That period saw huge jumps in technology. So it would be easy to see horses still being used ealry on and then ending with mass transit as we know it

the only age after industrial is the information age.. we can assume space age follows that, but we aren't going to se it in our lifetime.

With the next update, do you intend to add stuff for all players or only for those who buy a lot of crowns and are in enlightment age? Because I play like everyday since the release and I only spent like 13€ but i'm actually still in Gunpowder age. So if u could put some new contents for the big majority who still are below Gunpowder age, it would be great.

To summary : Do you intent to add content for new players, or for those who doesn't spend money in?

Well I was wondering if they would add like a "World War Era" age aswell, since I don't think we should have tanks driving alongside horses and planes flying over some guys with dynamite, double barreled shotguns and revolvers. I know this is at the end of the Industrial age and I know when this time period was, but I just think they should split this and not fit it into one age. After that there could also be a "Cold War Era" with some more developed technology and then the Information age. But what they mean by Space Age is not futuristic, it is what we live in now (flying to other planets etc.).

  • As for the looks, it seems, Industrial Age have some tidbits of Late XIX Century, so I ask: This age represents only World War I or it starts some decades earlier? If yes, there will be more than one upgrade per unit, right? For example, the evolving from-musket-rifleman from late 19th Century will have another upgrade to early 20th Century rifle infantry?
  • Will the nations shift their military focus when they reach industrial or just keep the equivalence? In Rise of Nations the civs changed from era to era, like the Romans having a killer infantry on ancient times but not being all that phenomenal when reaching the later ages. Will DomiNations follow it's footprints?
  • What are your plans to making Alliances really a thing to be worth the time, besides the little reinforcement guys?
  • Do you plan to make the unit and cities looks even more diverse? I mean, japanese horsemen using the same sprite as the chinese ones is a good makeshift solution, but well, we know that the japanese used cavalry that looked more like samurais on horses. Also, do you plan to add just a little guy rolling the ballistas and cannons? It's a bit silly seeing them rolling around like ghost-operated.

Are there any plans to introduce the opportunity for players to chose a type of government similar to how we chose a nation?

One of the things I really enjoy about this game is how the different combination of wonders and nations add variety to styles of play. Adding the ability to chose a type of government at the start of the gunpowder or enlightenment age would only build upon this variety!

Will there be a new nation like Russia? If so, tell us about it and will you make it free for the first time to swap over to the new nations?

Hey signed up jst to put forward my point of veiw...why would we need oil to get a grenadier and a heavy gunner????it don't make much sense to me Maybe they should be more of a barrack troop upgrade and maybe save the oil boom thing for the tanks and planes....secondly how about doing more with the alliance like trading food and gold cider metal to help upgrade the real exspensive stuff and maybe wars added too...I gt 49 people in the maori nation and all we do is donate and request troops...all in all great game addictive as hell lol...

A chance to choose a government where your alliance votes to pick one and say if u choose democracy you'll get to choose a Vice President and president and Vice President can have there own chat jst between them.A security of defense who would be in charge of the wars assuming there are wars... lets jst say if it's a 10 man war then they get to pick the 10 people to go to war and who they would attack and it would be final .and where your alliance members can elect a president or new president and if u kick someone out ur alliance takes a vote...or if it's a dictatorship obviously they would have full control or monarchy...got so many ideas in my head right now lol....maybe control ur nation rather than ur alliance nexon ring me lol....

Will there ever be any changes or additions to the trade goods? I can't imagine being able to hire industrial age mercenaries (or later modern/space age ones) with furs and leather...

Will oil be used for upgrading farms (tractors) or caravans (trucks)? Our is it simply for special offensive equipment?

Will we see the printing press have an impact in this era? I expect it to be researchable at the library and have an impact on economy somehow. Light bulbs/electricity also seem like a natural technology to implement, as do trains and trench warfare/creeping barrage - for this era.

How will the introduction of oil change the economic structure of the game? Will you improve the economic buildings so that they produce more? How many more ages will come after the Industrial age?

In addition to what jaguarjones said about trade goods, will there be a change in currency? Don't think gold (or gold coins) is used directly in modern economy.

With regards to traps, will we be seeing land mines? Seems like a natural addition to me. Also, spike trap might have declined in usage by that time?

I'm also echoing what Jholar said regarding whether there will be change in each nation's unique unit type.

Will special units be adjusted to fit national identities? It looks like Knights will turn into tanks. But having Greeks and French having the most powerful tanks is un-thematic at best.
