DomiNations Update 12.0 - Automation Age

DomiNations Update 12.0 introduces Automation Age! The latest age brings in a new level of Upgrades for your Troops and Buildings! We’ve also made adjustments to Level 12 Troop Tactics due to the addition of Level 13 Troop Tactics for Automation Age. 12.0 also brings in multiple visual fixes to show correct Troop art. You can also take an early look at the latest Councilor to join DomiNations!

Additional Updates
  • Refreshed the VIP store
  • Made adjustments to some Troop Tactics received for players at Level 12.
    • This resulted in some of these Troop Tactics receiving roughly a 1% buff to Health and DMG to better align them with the more powerful Troop Tactics received at this Level.
  • Increased DMG of T28 Super Heavy Tank Troop Tactic’s Cannon Attack (Level 10 and Above)

-Level 13 DPS 4,394
  • Increased DMG output of Admiral Yi’s Turtle Ship Base DMG to 3904 at Level 12. The newly added Level 13 Base DMG is 4491.
  • Fixed the issue where the Burj Al Arab bonus wouldn’t apply for each house within range of this Wonder.
    • This wonder will now correctly apply the -1% upgrade time reduction for each house within its radius.
  • Additional Security updates
    • Further adjustments have been made to our in-game security and exploit detection.
We have some pretty big things in the works for our next update that we’re confident you’ll appreciate! The team is actively working on implementing ‘Museum Loadouts’ for the next Quality of Life update and needs a bit more time to implement the feature. We ask for your patience in that regard.

Yes!.
if Museum loadouts are saving "Sets" of artifacts, them I am very much looking forward to this QoL feature.
I change this twice every session, once when opening the game and another after i finish. Huge PIA and it will be very nice to have to this with one r two taps!

NO WONDER!!!!

Every age has 2 levels of sniper towers and silo too. Drone brought only one.

Drone age always felt like a half released age and now Auto Age feels even worse. I do not understand why but having no new levels for library/uni/council/port is bad.

Also, it is clear that you tried to have a common name for all units and that's good. Why do you keep the name Spearhead for some Auto Age units is beyond any logic.... I simply cannot understand how these things are released . Attention to detail is what makes a game great.
The graphics are awesome as always.

BHG, one thing I will point out is you gave all the offense weapons upgrades, but left out many of the important defense structure upgrades like the Machine gun tower and Silo. Hope you realize this will contribute to an imbalance. I’m curious as to why you did this. Doesn’t seem fair that offense is shown this favoritism.

They've almost always favored offense in this game.
 
Yeah sorry guys, I'm normally one to sympathise the Dev team, but honestly there's two words to describe this update, lazy & confused.

Information to Drone age we got all building/troop upgrades, a brand new event pass system, and regular defensive/offensive upgrades spread over a 15(ish) month period.

Drone to Automation has been around 14 months and in that time we've had new library book, new building with VERY regular updates, introduction of seasons and a brand new unique defensive structure.

However this new age is missing basic upgrades for core buildings, no additional towers/traps, no wonder and completely inconsistent troop names.
Why is an Automation age unit named Spearhead II (Drone age lingo), but then a Captain's riflemen?

It's abundantly clear all the development time has gone into creating what are essentially loot boxes for people to waste crowns/money on, rather than working on the core game.

I fully appreciate the age model we have has updates with content throughout the year, but to completely omit core buildings and features is just sheer laziness or lack of care about the product being shipped honestly.

If Automation was going to be a half baked age, why not just wait a few more months until you could release a finished product, rather than playing catch up and drip feeding (what has been up until this point) basic content.

Why is an Automation age unit named Spearhead II (Drone age lingo), but then a Captain's riflemen?

It's abundantly clear all the development time has gone into creating what are essentially loot boxes for people to waste crowns/money on, rather than working on the core game.

I fully appreciate the age model we have has updates with content throughout the year, but to completely omit core buildings and features is just sheer laziness or lack of care about the product being shipped honestly.

If Automation was going to be a half baked age, why not just wait a few more months until you could release a finished product, rather than playing catch up and drip feeding (what has been up until this point) basic content.
And they miss wonder! They miss (I hope not) for a new type of unit! (Like the small robot in the presentation wallpaper)
 
They did try to warn everyone by highlighting their focus on QoL changes, changes that affect multiple Ages rather than a single Age that only a small subset of players will ever reach. Same for a new upcoming building that (seemingly) multiple Ages will utilize as opposed to that small subset of players. Over time have added library books covering multiple Ages instead of Age specific library books.

Given all that, much of this outcry is due to ignoring this and instead assuming a new Age would also have all the things like in year's past. Granted, BHG could do a better job highlighting how or why many changes aren't Age specific anymore but so it goes.

this means that there will be no new buildings producing new units ? (like the drone factory?)
